If the escort was fine but not bad, I'll tip a little. If they were awful, no tip, of course. If they were exceptional, I'll tip at least 20%.

 

Escorts are generally surprised, and very thankful, when I tip.

I do not tip for mediocre services, as one should expect. I tip my favorite regulars, especially since they are very generous with the clock and they don't make me feel rushed, and usually take the time to enjoy some post-coital bliss. If a provider is on a rush out the door after climax occurs, I don't tip.

Price has a lot to do with it. If an escort has a reasonable rate I'm going to be more likely to tip or tip better than if he his rates are high (I figure he's getting compensated by the higher rate and don't feel the need to tip or tip as much).

 

Something else to keep in mind is that their rates are usually far from cheap and the money is tax free. And they have little to no overhead. If you go to a lawyer that is charging $500 and a higher priced escort that is $500 an hour the lawyer not only is paying taxes but has overhead like office rent, a secretary, a paralegal, and 8+ years of schooling he paid for and you don't tip him.

 

A deal breaker for tipping for me is when the escort wants paid up front. I usually give a tip with the fee and if they are asking for their fee up front for some reason I don't feel the need to get back in my wallet and pull out more money.

Would have helped me avoid this experience on Monday: Someone I'd seen twice before, so at the tipping point of a regular. First two times were outcalls to my hotel room, which is my preference. Both super experiences, great chemistry, we click. This time, my hotel was in a remote part of the city -- 35 minutes out. He was unwilling to go there, which I understand completely, so I suggested we cancel and just meet another time. He then told me he had changed his travel plans to stay in the town we were both visiting so he could see me. He's a good guy and I believe that, so agreed to travel. Long story short, city was sold out and he couldn't extend his original hotel res, so relocated. The new place was gross -- flop house-ish with two single beds and AND he was sharing it with two other escorts. Mood lighting supplied by a towel over the bed lamp. Atmosphere sucked, save for the creaking bed which was bizarrely amusing. His personal performance was terrific as usual, he looked and smelled great as usual, and was clean as a whistle. So left a healthy tip as usual, but more out of habit than true appreciation. Found the two roommates waiting on the front stoop of the dump as I left waiting for their all clear, came back to my hotel and SCRUBBED DOWN for fear of crabs.

The person who orders the Lyft gets the chance to tip on the app, a clear plus over Uber which doesn't do that -- if you're tipping your Uber driver, its gotta be out of pocket cash.

Makes the experience off-the-charts hot and lends a certain urgency about not edging too much. Lyft let's me tip in app so yes. Uber I'm not a fan of for all the very public reasons. And no in app tipping.

Just to clarify -- this thread diverted into a tangent about tipping the driver of a car service a client hires for an escort. Tipping the driver is what the ap is for, not tipping the escort. Though tipping the escort is the main topic of this thread.

Oh I can't help myself! I swore that I wouldn't weigh in on this, having expressed myself on this very issue several times in the past. While I realize that life is about evolution, change, and developing new ideas and experiences, somehow nothing makes me change my mind on this one. The escort's job is to provide a fantasy for which he is already compensated at a kingly rate. It's doubtful that anything he can or could do will exceed my fantasy enough to make say, "Oh yeah, you're so amazing! Here's an extra 20 bucks" (or not wishing to appear cheap - heaven forfend - 20 per cent on a 250 tab so that's an additional $50). If it's just about getting off with no fantasy element, I'd just as soon stay home with a five finger discount special or find some poor unsuspecting guy who might actually make a fantasy come true for me for free. If the escort considers himself to be a professional, then he sets his rate and no tip is warranted and neither should one be expected. We don't tip other professionals - why is this different?
