Last night, while flipping channels, I came upon an old film entitled The Mummy's Tomb. I paused for a bit, thinking I would soon move on, when and actor of whom I had never been aware, named Turhan Bey, came onto the screen.

 

Turhan Bey was an Austrian-born actor of Turkish origin. Turhan was active in Hollywood from 1941 to 1953. He was dubbed "The Turkish Delight" by his fans. After his return to Austria, he pursued careers as a photographer and stage director. Wikipedia

 

Well!! Needless to say, I watched the remainder of the movie. :p

Back in the 1950s, I used to watch a lot of movies from the 1940s on tv, and I remember Turhan Bey was a familiar face. I believe he was in a lot of the old Charlie Chan movies.
