Hey Guys I have not posted in a long time however

I am asking for a special consideration to post this very important event here.

If you feel you can help in any way please be in touch.

While I often focus on charity work that casts a bigger net over the past few years I have been involved more personally in a project called angels in America.

I sponsor a child with dwarfism. We are basically pen pals facetime buddies and I send school supplies gifts etc during birthdays holidays and the like.

(ok I spoil the hell out of him)

HOWEVER this is above my paygrade and I need your help.

I don't come here often and I hate to come here only when I need something.

So if I am in violation of a Daddy's forum rule please feel free to delete.

I will share this 6 minute video that explains everything. I hope you will take a few moments of your time and watch.

He is a really special kid and has change my life numerous times.... He is my hero

David, I have some contacts in Rhode Island, can you send me a bit more information about what it is he needs and when the event is scheduled and where. I did not do this as a PM because I am not sure you check those.

Just donated, and I'm in tears. That video is so incredibly genuine, bless you for doing that.

 

What makes me almost ANGRY is that an idiot friend of mine burned down his house while drunk, posted a GoFundMe, and actually received even MORE than the amount these people are looking for, and they have a far worthier cause. God, I hope they're able to cross that threshold.

Hey Guys !!

WOW !!!

I got Home from Providence on sunday to say the fundraiser was a success is selling it short.

The goal was exceeded in large part because ...

Well....

people are fucking amazing and this family really did the leg work.

 

Ian's Mom ran to me hugged me and we cried .... Of course we cried and laughed.

4 comedians showed up and blew the house down. Every item auctioned and raffled was sold

They raised over $12000. Heather sent me a Fb Message today they are moving into a new home 1 mile away from their current on with full access. They even have a river behind the back yard.

& a huge front porch.

I did not get a chance to take a lot of pics or video I snagged a few from Heather.

I was busy playing with my kid ,my angel ...

Whom BTW has done more for me than I could ever do for him.

Ian is magical and so are all of you. Thank you for letting me post this here especially

Daddy I realize this was not the usual venue for my pet projects but this had to count and I needed you guys. ANNND It worked and I am very grateful.
