Where to go for end-of-summer fun?

I'd like to travel for the Labor day weekend and am looking at a few options for good business opportunities. NYC is ruled out since that seems to be the very weekend everyone leaves town. I'm currently looking at Dallas and Ft. Lauderdale as options.

 

Anyone have recommendations for hot travel spots at that time of the year?

You might not want to rule out NYC for Labor Day weekend. Not everyone leaves - but some guys do, including some working guys. Then there's a shortage of working fellows, and that - combined with fresh meat status - might end up being a great experience.

NYC hosts the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament for two weeks at the end of summer, including Labor Day Weekend. There may not be many New Yorkers there, but tennis players and fans from all over the world will be around. They usually stay at hotels in Manhattan. The top players usually rent houses nearer the tennis stadium .

New Orleans hosts Southern Decadence over labor day weekend. It's a huge gay event, but I'm not sure the prospects are great for working escorts, since the atmosphere is geared toward free hookups.
