I would love for the site to become a full blown escort site. Let us create ads.... Backpage and rentboy have been extinct off the face of the planet....I think we need to take the plunge. Rebrand it. Make it about the escorts, and the money will come in.

 

I would be concerned if this site became like BP or RB. If it did so, it could well suffer the same fate. IMHO, this site is great as it is.

Well, this site isn't exactly kindergarten level reading either. The key to understanding why, is understanding that those things weren't random. I mean, look at A4A. Or hourboy or men4rent. Still alive and kicking since prehistoric eras. Plus, having an outsourced site versus having an office in New York or Dallas makes a difference.

 

But of course I'm not a site facilitator so I'm only speaking by opinion and not with any known or unknown facts.

 

Edit: Also the other thing that relates to this, and how things just don't make sense in the world of gay shutdowns. I'm in Orlando and the anniversary of the pulse shooting was this weekend and today. 49 people may have lost their lives, but what about the hundreds and thousands across the world who lost their livelihood and likely their lives in General when rentboy was shut down?

 

The government can train society to feel a certain way about gays dying at random over a political issue, but won't hesitate to pull the plug at random on their livelihood.
