Cockring wrong size

So I am learning about cockring thru trial and error. After seeing everyone else have so much fun with cock rings, I went out to get my very own.

So I found one that looked about right...its not like you can try them on..but when I got around to trying it on was too small.

Maybe it was the kind that just goes around the shaft and I need to look for one that goes around the beans and the frank? If such is the case I am too thin. But I dont see how it could possibly work. My endowment, as glorious as it may be, isnt that much above average so I went with the Mid sized metal model. Elastic is probably the easier way to go, but metal appeals to my industrial side.

 

So trying to figure out what to do with the wrong sized one? Not like I can return it. Any suggestions?

You have actually stumbled into another question I had. I want to get a pubic piercing similar to the one Lenny Kravitz sports. Hoop at the very top base of the cockshaft. Looks nice surrounded by pubes (wish I could track down a pic to post).

Am having second thoughts now because I realised how often someone tries (and occasionally succeeds }( ) in shoving their hands down the front of my pants. With the placement of the piercing, I see grave potential for flesh tearing.

Buy several more the same size and use them as napkin rings.

You might consider buying some inexpensive PVC or rubber rings till you find the one that is just right. Then purchase the equivalent hardware. As for piercings... yeah you might want to keep them out of high traffic or blind traffic areas. :o

Good luck in your cockring hunt. Just wanted to mention that when you eventually find the right size, don't wear it for longer than 30 minutes. They can be dangerous if left on too long.

There are some stores that will not only let you try them on, they will help you try them on.... or, rather, they helped me try them on! To make sure it fit properly, no doubt.

You should have gone to the Leatherman on Christopher St in NYC. I don't use cockrings anymore but once upon a time I did (hey, it was a phase) and at the Leatherman, they let you drop your pants and try on the metal cockrings to make sure you have a good fit. The salesperson was helping me get my balls through (I couldn't figure out how to do it and mine are sensitive) so he got down on his knees to help, and of course my dick sprang to attention, but you can't put them on once you're hard so I had to pull my jeans back up and wait for it to go down. Anyway, I eventually got the right one and loved the feeling of that heavy metal ring but now I prefer to just feel myself down there. }(

Thanks. I will check out the shops that will let me try them on. Didnt know they existed. Should have hit Christopher St to begin with (St Marks Place is probably useful as well) instead of going for the impulse buy.

As someone who also has to deal with lots of into the pants reaching/grabbing (albeit around the other side), any thoughts on the piercing issue?

 

I can usually see the grab coming so I guess I could always give a little guidance to compensate for the pubic ring.

Don't do it on impulse. Educate yourself from a medical standpoint as to the risks you might encounter. Talk to people that have already done it and listen to their experience and issues if any. As with any piercing, infection is your biggest risk. Oh, and make sure, if you go thru with this that you select a competent, well researched person. Get references and make sure his/her shop is sterile.

No worries with piercing. It isnt my first and I have a safe experience clean place to get it done.

My piercer can tell me about the care and upkeep etc of the piercing but I doubt she can tell me about how to handle having guys reach into my pants all the time.

My experience was the same: I was invited both times to try it on and I have now several ones: a rubber, leather and a chrome stainless cock ring guaranteed for a life time ... :o

The last one I've got in Amsterdam in the famous leather store Rob http://www.rob.nl

I'd recommend for a begginer starting with an extensible rubber or adjustable cock ring. Never force to put a metal cock ring, you risk finishing in the hospital.

I prefer rubber to metal which I learned years ago. After a night of play I had to buy and use a chain cutter to relieve a friends balls. We sometimes laugh looking back at it - but he was in agony - this was after soaking in a cold swimming pool, ice packs and lots of lube didn't work. Knowing that I wanted the cockring feeling and not wanting metal I checked out the "O" ring display at my local hardware store - there's usually a chest type display with little drawers each with their different sized "O" rings. The biggest difference is the 39 cent price compared to the much higher priced ones which are officially called "cock rings" at my local porn shop. I bought a few (not bad at 10 for $3.90) and tried them on found my exact comfort size and threw the others away. I keep the package (the ones I have even have a cute little plastic container) in case I lose it I know exactly what size replacement to get.
