What to do with old VHS pornos

Just thought I'd see what you guys thought - I have a couple dozen old VHS tapes. A few high quality pornos but mostly the B-level compilations that I could afford way back in the VHS days. Planning on just landfilling them unless anyone has a better suggestion. I live in LA. Thanks!

A few years back when I left LA and moved east, I had a hundred or so VHS porn tapes. I tried giving them away and was unsuccessful. They ended up in the dumpster...I had briefly considered having them converted to DVD format, but the Internet made all of that pointless...Good luck.

I sent mine to a forum member who requested them when I posted a similar question a few years ago.

 

Sent them FedEx to avoid any legal issues with USPS.

"The Bigger The Better" and "Powertool" have never looked so fabulous in an alternative format! Normally I would sob uncontrollably if those were mine, but that's what the Internet is for.

Does seem kind of sad because those were real porn stars. Any other profession they'd have statues, awards and plaques in their honor. Nope. Not even a dumb where are they today show. Just lost in the dustbin of history and of coarse fading memories.

I second with converting them to DVD or possibly selling them to a sex shop.

 

This may sound sleazy, but last month I stopped along i70 between St Louis and Kansas City as there is about 3 sex shops in that area. I won't mention the names, but I was just curious what a rural XXX store was like. Picked up some lube and a couple titles just for fun.

 

Came across a Chi Chi La Rue DVD from 1996, meaning it had to be VHS. On dvd, the quality looks modern. But feels kinda cheeky watching 2 decades old porn and actually getting off to it lol.

 

Internet porn is fine but unless you always have a computer to tv cable, and always have the laptop right there, it's more convenient and fun to just pop a video in the DVD. A cabin mansion in Sevierville, Tennessee i recently stayed at, had a 96" movie screen TV set up in a theater room. When everyone was asleep couple of us watched a flick on there and OMG it was like being at club Dallas

 

Now THAT would be a place to do a forum meet up at! Lol.
