I'm all for airport security. But the TSA in Denver has got to be the most stupid group of people I've seen. The actually made traveling penguins from Sea World in San Diego walk through the metal detectors!

For those that think I'm just joking, here's the whole story.

ROFLMFAO!!! :+

I especially like this caption:

< The first penguin seems to be wondering why this is necessary. "It's not like I planned to hijack the plane to Antarctica." x(

Hey, if I have to be strip-searched seemingly every time I climb aboard a plane these days, I say frisk the little bastards! x(

AND if someone cound have found a way to strap an explosive to the little guys you would have an absolute fit about the lack of our security. The world is just not the same anymore...

Someone's PR agency was working overtime, and caught the TSA in the crossfire. The TSA has all sorts of ways of whisking VIPs, celebrities and others through their checkpoints without making a scene. Why not penguins too?

Plus, isn't it interesting that someone with a high quality, digital camera just happened to be standing in the right place to snap these pictures?

These days, digital cameras are so common it actually wouldn't surprise me if the pictures were candid snapshots.

But when traveling with a live animal, letting it out of its carrier is forbidden inside the airport so there's definitely some special handling going on here.

More than just a digital....there was a full news crew filming. I saw it on the national news.
