in his defense, some of the more private questions in his screening form are not "required fields", but requesting your occupation and company (required fields) is inappropriate.....

 

Colby probably has a tremendous amount of regulars already.....if this isn't a joke, it may be an attempt by him to weed out the one-and-dones and develop additional deep-pocketed regulars.....

I just don't see the problem. It's his prerogative to conduct his business anyway he chooses, and it's a clients prerogative to refuse to provide the information he requests and not hire him. Pretty simple really. It just doesn't offend me that he is requesting what some see as personal information. That being said, if he was someone that I was interested in hiring, I personally wouldn't go through his screening process, because I'm a very private person. I would simply hire someone else.

An hour with Colby is one of my fantasies. However, $1000 is a LOT more than I would be willing to spend with anyone doing anything, and the screening form alone would be a deal-breaker for me. But it's his decision and he's free to do whatever he wants, just as we are free to criticize it. At the end of the day, I'm still not shelling out $1000 or completing the form, and he's not changing his rate or process.
