What do you nickname a guy named "Ashton"? Ashty? Kutchy?

 

Speaking of nicknames, Dan Savage called him "SugarKlump" in a column, referring to his conversations with Kutcher and how he'd invited Kutcher to guest-host a column someday. Did that ever happen? Why has Savage surrendered and stopped drooling over him? It felt so liberating.

In the past couple of weeks I've seen both of Ashton Kutcher's recent movies---"GUESS WHO" & "A LOT LIKE LOVE". (I confess to finding him attractive). He's certainly not the greatest young actor working in films today, but he does have an engaging very friendly personality and seems like he'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. If you see "GUESS WHO", stick around as the closing credits roll and watch Kutcher dancing with the rest of the crowd at Bernie Mac's (who's really funny) house party. Early in "A LOT LIKE LOVE", Kutcher is wearing shorts while riding a NY subway train and I thought he looked terrific.

Pathetic to admit, but DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR is a guilty pleasure-the kiss between Ashton and Seann William Scott is a great moment (along with the 'who's on first'-like routine where they ask keep asking each other to read the tattoo on each other's backs.)

 

And although I find the cruelty of PUNK'D difficult to endure, he's still a hottie to watch.
