I had a massage tonite from my regular masseur and were chatting about his business. He has been my local masseur for 2 years. When I travel I go online and book from different massage sites. He had an ad on massagem4m.com but just cancelled it this week since they now allow NO shirtless photos AT ALL! I checked it out tonite after he left and it was true. I have not been to that site for 6 months or so, but wow has it changed! DULL! NO SHIRTLESS photos. So was curious where you guys go...here is my ranking where I go when looking:

1) Masseurfinder......been going there for years, love the layout and the Relax session is just that, relaxed about no shirts.

2)Rentmasseur....love this site, I think the layout is easy to navigate, they have private pics, and I like the personal questions format the masseurs fill out.

3) adam4adam....an okay site, but I get a weird vibe that some of the masseurs are questionable.

Those are my go to sites. Does ANYONE use massagem4m.com anymore? I don't. What is your feedback about massagem4m.com and your rankings? Any sites I am missing?

Same, Masseurfinder is the main one—I hardly go to M4M anymore. I go on rentmasseur but I feel like most of the guys on their guys are offering escort-lite services, basically a discreet way of escorting.

I check in with massagem4m.com regularly but mostly from force of habit. They've got no regular guys in Detroit and damned few in Michigan at all. Every once in a while a traveler shows up.

Agree, smaller markets are not well represented by most of these sites, even A4A, so I depend more on Craigslist. For NYC I still use sexymasseur.com. Their ad rates are half of MF, so there are some guys there not on the other more pricey options.

My go to is masseurfinder then a4a. Massagem4m sometimes. I want to really like massuerfinder. But only way you can send a email request for the guys there's to unlock their private pics is thru a gmail acct as other ones such as aol aren't accepted.

The best experiences have been with masseurfinder.com...

The WORST has been A4A.... Horrible.... Inaccurate descriptions of providers... Inept practitioners (if you can call them that).

1. massageanywhere.com has been the website where I've had the best experiences

2. masseurfinder.com is second because they used to be better when they categorized the massage in 3 types instead of the current 2

3. hotmasseur.com has a nice layout, but are quite lacking in volume of people to choose from

4. rentmasseur.com is affiliated with rentmen, so it's a back an forth with who will do more than just massage you

I've tried to use Massageanywhere a few times and haven't had much luck. Are you looking for strictly therapeutic on massageanywhere?

None of the advertised on massageanywhere gave me a therapeutic massage and I'm not complaining. I've only received therapeutic massages at chiropractic offices and don't like them nearly as much, but they are certainly more affordable.

What city are you in?

Finding a good massage therapist in Detroit is as hard as finding an escort there. You have to rely on travelers. One of the best massage/escort experiences I had was in Detroit though from a hot guy from LA a couple years ago doing a cross country trip from LA to NYC and stopped over for a couple nights at a no tell dump on Telegraph. When I hire for a massage the majority of the time it's a legit massage and not for sex but this turned into more of an escort experience than a massage:)

For a legit massage David in Ann Arbor is really good and at one time he had a studio in suburban Detroit. He's an LMT and his massages are great and I love his location, I used to go for a massage and then walk to the Aut to eat and then to Zingermans. His rates are very reasonable for an LMT, especially seeing the shortgage of massage therapists in the area

I like Masseurfinder but unfortunately no one is on there in my area unless I'm lucky enough to come across someone travelling here. I travel a lot and have found a couple good guys there. I found my favorite Masseur in Chicago on Masseurfinder and always try to get an appointment whenever I am in Chicago and have been seeing him for over eight years

I use MM4M and MF about equally. I rarely use A4A or rentmasseur unless I'm following a link from here.

These two were new to me so I checked them out quickly:

massageanywhere - the weird thing about this site seems to be that you get female and male therapists mixed together in the search results. So that limits its interest to me.

sexymasseur - I like what I see on this site. The search function seems useful. The layout is attractive. I suspect there are few masseurs on here than MM4M or MF though.

I prefer masseurfinder. The interface is better than MM4M and I agree with @Dmitri about RentMasseur being home to "escort lite" ads. I do check MM4M, but not as often as masseurfinder.

M4M used to be my favorite site, but I use mostly Masseurfinder now. Yesterday, M4M was down to 95 advertisers. A year ago, they had about 180. They are doing this to themselves. As I recall, the original Rentboy raid and subsequent scare was about taxes , prostitution, and money laundering. This really wasn't the Morality Police or Big Brother a la George Orwell's 1984. Perhaps the massage sites have overreacted?

I think you are onto something. MM4M's removing the private picture feature made sense, as they were charging a fee which appeared to make the site a paid porn site. However, they have gone in the complete opposite direction. Now, they might as well replace all ad copy with "Hi, I give massages." In addition, their "premium" membership has gone from slightly shady to a complete rip-off. There's no premium content to see.

rentmasseur.com is changing too... there's no way for a masseur to 'unlock' private pictures now. you need to be a premium member to see private pics

True, but rentmasseur charges a flat rate for a premium membership. MM4M was charging per photo album.

Masseurfinder is my go to site. Almost all of my experiences there have been positive. Rentmasseur is better in some locations than MF so I check both. I gave up on M4M as it keeps losing ads and I rarely found it reliable.

Masseurfinder, hands down.

I have had some luck on adam4adam - there are some real gems there. This site no longer has 'escorts' as a category in the PRO section. So, all escorts call themselves 'masseurs' now, just to stay on the site. You got to clarify that with the 'masseur' in question. Some are just no masseurs at all.

I have used massageanywhere.com a lot. You can pretty much figure out the boundaries of the therapists by reading their self descriptions, and they are generally less expensive.

All these posts prompt a question: are M4M and Masseurfinder owned by the same company? I think that Visa and MasterCard are owned by the same consortium of banks, and don't really compete with each other. I have no reason to believe this about these massage sites, but it occurred to me.
