I'm not a provider, just a partaker. :)

Have seen a fellow multiple weekends so far. About half-way through I asked if it would be okay to send him a check prior to the get-together. Just because I wasn't so comfortable hauling a weekend's-worth of cash around through airports, etc.

Guess we'd established enough of a trust that he/I - we're okay with that. I do make sure the check arrives to him with enough time to clear both accounts prior to the meeting.

Easier.

For the escorts and masseurs, would you accept a check form of payment? I mean of course you specify that you only accept cash on your pages/sites. What if you performed your service to find out the guy is writing you a check. Has that ever happened?

I'm not an escort, but as a client I'd understand this ending:

It would really really have to be a worst-case scenario and with someone I'd met before. I can't believe anyone writes checks for anything anymore, and I definitely don't want to have someone's banking information so closely and permanently associated with my own. Paper like that never really goes away.

We usually always meet remotely - he away from his home-base, I away from mine.

I'd rather not go through airports and TSA with $6,000 - $8,000 in cash. My request to him was if he'd have a problem accepting an ahead-of-time check. He understands and accepts. We have a pretty damn good agreement, so speak in more ways than the monetary variety.

Totally understand, and it's good that you've worked it out. I don't know that there is a more elegant solution to it, frankly, outside of maybe bitcoin.

Paypal, wallet, cash, etc. All these apps are great and much safer then writing a check.

Piss. We know each other's actual names, our actual addresses even though we meet remotely, even our actual employers - his and my company. He's met my sons. I've even met a girl he fucks.

Seems like a damned-old-fashioned-paper-hand-written check would be okay. No?

Back in my early days of hiring, I met with a guy for the first time (close to HIS first time with a client, too, I think). I was so impressed I wanted to tip more, but had only the meeting fee in cash. He accepted a check, and we had a long relationship after that. That's the only time I can think that I ever wrote a check for a working guy.

If you want to do that have at it. We're talking about non regulars here. Anyone who accepts a check under those circumstances is a complete moron.
