So interesting development for me on the RM reviews...Yes I have seen the other chatter about how legit they are and people being able to remove negative ones but I still take the time to review folks on there anyway.

 

So I met an escort who specifically stated in his profile that he only communicated via text/phone so after he unlocked his pics T sent him a text and arranged a meeting.....The guy that showed up was not the guy in the pics and there were also some other issues. Long story less long, he left nothing happened and I was out some money but not all. I wrote a review and RM wouldn't publish it. I contacted them and they asked me to send screen shots of texting which I did. But they still didn't publish the review. When I again asked about it I was told there was no communication through RM. I replied that they can see he opened his pics for me and that his ad clearly states communication through Text/phone only and their response is no, the meeting has to be initiated through their site...

I get that they don't want people faking reviews and stuff but really to only allow the review if the meeting was coordinated through their site is BS. My text screen shots even showed that I said I saw his ad on RM. Very rarely do I actually make meeting arrangements through their site. I still think this is because the review was negative because a different positive review I submitted did get published. And that had communication outside of the RM site as well so go figure.

Thanks for posting Jeepo. It seems to me that most of the meetings are actually arranged outside of RM - so - that's a ridiculous argument. None of the meetings I have had were arranged on RM.

 

Increasingly I rely on the forum here for reviews and warnings... (and, you in particular, as a matter of fact).

I've posted positive reviews on RM regarding a fellow I've seen multiple times whose ad is no longer current. Actually, posted as recently as yesterday. (For what they're worth.)

 

I contacted him via RentMen.com about a year ago. After that initial communication our contact moved to direct email , then texts. Nothing more through RentMen other than my initial message to him.

 

So I'm not sure why they're saying they "only accept reviews about meeting (sic) that are initiated via communication on RentMen.com." o_O

Those RM webmasters are full of it. I had a meeting arranged with JohnyLeggz in New York, ALL of the communication through the RM site. He stood me up. Just didn't show. wouldn't answer my phone calls or texts and never gave an explanation. I wrote a review, and they refused to publish it because "a meeting had not taken place" -- what a pack of a$$holes. But in the meantime, beware of Johny.

Im so sorry about your experience Jeepo. If it makes You feel any better us escorts have it worse. There is absolutely no way to screen a client before meeting them. Ive even taken extensive trips(Flying to a destination city) only to meet a nightmare. Just because you're paying someone...doesnt entitle you to be an asshole. Some of these clients are simply just....jaded. You can have accurate pictures, perform everything that is asked, show up on time, have personality etc etc etc and some will still find something "wrong".

 

 

 

I totally understand that It is the client who is fronting money, So I am sure It is more frustrating to get your hopes up, make arrangements with hotels etc only to be let down(Which Im sure happens often)

 

 

99% of the clients I have met have been Amazing. I cant stress enough tho that us escorts go through ALOT more BS when it comes to this business.

It's unfortunate this happened, but I do appreciate you posting about this. It's a sad confirmation that RM actively works to prevent clients from sharing warnings.

 

I'm new here, so take this for what's worth, but if I were in your situation, I would submit a formal review here on this site, then start a new thread in the deli stating that I had submitted a review about the experience with no details beyond the ad link, so as to not violate the rule of no reviews in the forum, but then people who might be interested in that ad could PM you for more detail.

 

When I did this recently, although I omitted details, I did state I was planning to see the person again, I'm hoping that stays inside the no reviews guidelines, but sends a signal of a positive experience. Of course, this is entirely optional, but saying that you didn't plan to repeat might be enough to indicate a negative exp, saving you some PMs. Just a thought while this site is in transition.

@Jock123 -- just curious -- do you talk to potential clients on the phone? For me that's been a pretty effective way of siphoning out sketchy escorts or guys I just wouldn't match up with well. I usually won't hire without a short conversation.

Yes: "We do post non-positive reviews. But when an escort only has 1 or 2 reviews that are not positive, we reject & hold them till more reviews come in. This allows us to make a good judgement of the escorts character. Your info is valuable to us & would be posted when more reviews from other clients "

Hmmm.

I too have posted reviews for someone who I never contacted via RM. This sounds a little shady!
