How much do you believe the reviews?

How many of you guys do reviews? I do them as part of an unofficial contract when the escort has been great. I think long & hard when I think a negative review is warranted. Yes on Daddy's & Renmen as well.

Ha, well, that might have been true from the neck down, my face looks like a boxer who's been punched a few too many rounds in his life, but other than that, yeah, his style reminds me of me many furlongs and fortnights ago.

 

Having said that, I just posted in the deli about submitting a review for Chris, so trying to do my part to keep this a useful resource for us clients.

I trust many reviews on the site and all reviews on jawjateck's site. Why the difference you might ask?

On this site although the review is important so, for me at least, is the self description of the reviewer. How an escorts responds to a forty year old client might be extremely different from how he might respond to a seventy year old client. I place most value on reviews written by clients similar to myself in age, size, and type of service expected.

I tend to take all reviews written by jawjateck as gospel. I know him and trust his judgement.

Two other things must always be kept in mind. 1.) Chemistry between one escort and a client might be very different between the same escort and a different client - shit happens. 2.) An escort might be having a great day with one client and a bad day with another - shit happens.

I have never had a really bad experience with an escort during my fifteen years of hiring. Have all my experiences been mind and body blowing - of course not. Some have been mediocre, at best but, there were still some fun aspects to the get together.

Do I want to hire a guy with bad reviews? No.

 

Do I think I will have the same experience that authors of glowing reviews had? I've since learned, No.

 

We'll all different, and no two people have the same, as they say, chemistry, for whatever reason. However, in my opinion, the good companions (only hired 4 different guys), will be better at reading their clients and proceed accordingly. In my case, I'm new, nervous, and shy (hence my forum name) meeting for the first time. The best experience I had was where he instinctively knew what I was about, and guided me through our time together. It was Alec Andrews, a master at his craft.

The only ones that I generally look at are the Daddy Reviews. If there are a few, then I accept the most rudimentary facts as being true, such the escort's general body traits. I accept as true how the encounter went with those two people (unless there is something in objection written by the escort). I used to also read the review to determine what the escort might be willing to do, such as kiss, rim, frottage, muscle worship, etc. I think those days are probably gone forever considering the review pages are being redone. But the DR's were just a very low bar to start off at. Once I had that I always checked the posts in the Forum and if I could glean that someone had hired a person that I was interested in I would contact that person and ask whatever questions I had about a possible hire. Everyone has been very forthright with their information about any encounter they had. Finally, as Epigonos mentioned above, I would always jawjateck's reviews and see if he or his compatriots has seen anyone I was interested in or on occasion have my interest piqued.

Judging by the guys mentioned by OldNbusted and latbear, I have to say I probably share their preferences. I haven't met with Chris (Bodywrk) yet but he's on my To-Do List when I finally get back to DC. I engaged the services of a really hot guy in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago. He has a terrific body (unbelievable abs and butt) and you might consider him if you're ever in the Charlotte area. I place most value on reviews written by clients similar to myself in age, size, and type of service expected) that reviews of that nature are important for the potential success of a meeting between a new client and escort. I, too, "screen" new potential escorts by the reviewing clients profile, especially about age and body type. So these reviews are very helpful in approaching a new escort for me. I also ask in my initial contact if the escort if "OK with older guys" and send a picture of myself as well. The escort's response is usually a pretty "telling" statement of his attitude and allows for a graceful decline. Obviously I don't want an escort that can't make it happen because he's not comfortable with me for whatever reason, so up-front is best for everyone. The reviews help expedite the process.

( Let me add I have been with many good escorts that assure me they are OK with older guys and they made me feel they really believed it; we had some wonderful encounters! Others who were slow in responding, or vague, I usually move on. Those escorts generally don't follow up after me if I don't make another attempt. Pretty obvious.)

When my paid membership expired I didn't renew. Rentmen has zero customer service and never answers or addresses complaints. They only take our money so that in exchange we can see certain Semi-Private pictures and watch the short often times seconds of whatever the escort decides to show. We still needed escorts to unlock the "Private Pics" which he may chose to do so or not. The reviews also just are stars given and if the encounter was "Relaxing" or not and it the photos were "Accurate" or not and would we recommend or not. Not a hell of a lot of information! Rentmen has a poor track record with me and they won't get my money anymore. They are only the web site of choice for now till something better comes along. What has saved them is being based overseas out of the reach of Uncle Sam.

 

Not to take it off topic, but I suspected I was maybe the only one who felt this way about RM. Reassuring to know that I'm not being especially ignored/neglected when I need help from them. It's just how they work. :/

 

I hope that 'something better' comes along sooner rather than later.
