Hey guys, I’m not too experienced with doing massages but was wondering what the overall difference is between erotic and sensual messages. What is generally expected in terms of skill set, sexual expectations/limitations, rate, etc.?

Thanks!

These terms are definitely vague.

An erotic massage usually means there is full nudity, mutual touch, and a "happy ending" that is sometimes a hand job, sometimes more. An erotic massage doesn't always involve formal massage skills or training and is often an "escort lite" experience.

A sensual massage could be just about anything, but I think most clients hope that it will include a happy ending. Some masseurs don't see it that way, and advertise "sensual" but don't include anything the least bit sexual. In my opinion, if you're advertising "sensual massage," you should have some good, real massage skills, either through training or very good intuition.

Sometimes the rate tells a little more than the description. If a masseur is charging $200 or more, they are either offering an escort-like experience, or they're ripping their clients off with a tease that never delivers.

If you advertise both escort and massage services, you're going to need to know exactly where you draw the line. Some clients will hire you at the massage rate and hope to get the full escort experience. I think it's reasonable to draw the line at anal; if the client expects fucking, they should be paying an escort rate, not an erotic massage rate.
