>Such drama.

>God, if you're into so much emotion and drama about little

>things now, what will you be in 10 years?

I'm not exactly sure what precipitated the original posting, since VM hasn't quite explained it, but it sounds as if he may have flown somewhere on his own dime only to be stood up. It's not on the par of becoming crippled in a car crash, but I wouldn't exactly call it a "little thing," if that's what happened. I would have been quite pissed off. Of course, if I were an escort, I wouldn't buy an airline ticket with the promise of being paid back later. A serious client should be willing to buy the airplane ticket up-front. (Conversely, as client, I wouldn't pay fees, other than travel expenses, up-front before the escort even showed up, since escorts can take the money and run as well, with no recourse for the client)

Vincent,

I have always appreciated your postings on here and it has been very informative to get the prospective from the escort side of things from the likes of you, BN, Rick, Aaron Scott, etc. I don't know that there is an easy answer for you except to say that if you ever have a last minute cancellation, post it here asap and I am sure you will have a ton of takers...or givers.. }(

Good Luck & keep posting!

This is my take on the original posting of VM's. Sure something might have happend but really his posting makes no sence at all. It is very blurry and makes no sence. VM if you post and ask for help or whatever it'll help if you first and foremost make some sence. Honestly I don't understand half your posts. Maybe the MC should come up with a VM decoder or something along with a nifty spell check.

Greg

When I first read this post, I guess I was prepared cause its titled "What I feel !!!" I think that set the stage for me, cause I look at this as VM emoting and venting on a topic that really bothered him. The guy does not like to be cancelled on or lied to...I think its as simple as that.

>but I have to vent how I feel guys and right now how I feel is just not good<

The guy does not feel good and what do you do when people dont feel good ? Well, I try and make them feel better. If its a physical ailment and they want to be left alone, then I will do that too. In this case he is expressing himself and probably looking for a bit of good will, like some people have extended. I havent been here that long, but even I can tell that he takes his work seriously and is emotionally involved in what he does.

Im also pretty sure that something more significant than one liar or one (or even several) cancellation has happened. The double standard of which he speaks may or may not be true, but there is an inequity in the client/escort relationship. Now Im not saying that either side has the upper hand, but there are certain things that both sides can get away with, but shouldnt be allowed to. Yes, clients can fuck over escorts and pretty much get away with doing that to a number of escorts without being caught...hopefully these freaks are few and far between, but I have no idea. We can also fuck up someone's reputation in the blink of an eye. We can also make people feel less, cause we are "the buyer" and "we bought you." These are all ways that the client (and I wouldnt call this person a client...I will coin a new word for this type of client...but not now...give me some time.

Now the escort has some power over the clients (thus the feeling of a double standard) that the client does not have over the escort. The escort can be full of shit and be a hustler (therefore, in my eyes, not an escort). He can use the client for their money and not fulfill his end of the "contract." Or he can fulfill only part of the contract. He can make the client feel poorly by treating them like they are just a paycheck...this may be the only "power" that both the client and the escort share.

So I guess, there you have it...maybe double standard is not the best phrase to use, bit I think its just as good as any.

Bottom line : I think its pretty evident that the guy is pissed and hurt. If ya dont like him, then fuck with him on this thread and tell him to shut the fuck up and tell him thats life...man up mothafucker !!! Now if you are neutral or like the guy, maybe be supportive...and if ya really dont understand his post, well I gotta let ya slide there cause I understand that, but now that I have used my special powers to decipher the meaning, we all should be on the same page.

Since you are suggesting spell check to VM; I am wondering what kind of spell check you are using in the Northwest? Doesn't make much sense to me....

HUH?

Allot of you seem to want to know if I was stood up or asking some detailed question in my post….However there was no question and was never a statement about how I was stood up, I simple was venting my emotions about things to which Either I have watched on the MC or experienced in life its self.

Now does this mean I can’t post it? Hell no this is the Lobby and I felt is was something worth saying and talking about…as for the input and were the topic went in the end….I had no control of that.

As for not understanding my posts, I honestly don’t care because its not my job to make you understand anything. If you do great if you don’t great in either situation I am happy to keep posting what I feel and how I feel and give my input on many topics other than what is my favorite lube and condom!

You are correct in your observation that there is a double standard, however that same double standard is not limited to the escort/client relationship only. It is true for almost anyone in the service business. I include doctors, lawyers, accountants, dieticians, and just about anyone else who schedules clients and reserves the time for them. Furthermore, it is also true of places like restaurants and airlines where seats are reserved and then the people do a no show. I might add that clients who get unexpectedly cancelled (airlines, restaurants, doctors, etc.) or extraordinarily delayed also trash the service provider no matter how out of the providers control the delay or cancellation may be. If we lived in a civil, polite world people would be understanding about other peoples circumstances, however, alas, we do not. EWC

If you would all like to re-read my last post and then VM's last post, you will see my powers of perception (which my friends tell me is one of the powers of gay people) are intact. I would like to say I TOLD YA SO and any fan mail you would like to send can be addressed to THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ !!!!

Ya see guys, its not all about mental masturbation...some times we should just be nice, listen and empathize

Actually, I feel that it's pretty even. Neither side has much recourse if one screws over the other. Since the expectations of what an escort is supposed to do are generally understood, but illegal, there's not much a client can do if he gets ripped off. There's no BBB to report to, no professional society, and certainly no legal oversight. The most the aggreived client can do is to report his experience (where the escort gets the last word in the rebuttal), and hope that someone takes heed. Most businesses these days have multiple things to worry about if they give bad service, including multiple web-based review sites. When I'm not using Priceline, for instance, I'll avoid hotels with consistently bad reviews on tripadvisor.com. An escort with a good website and nice pictures is probably more immune to negative comments from dissatisfied clients than most businesses are.

>You're too young to have feelings.

LMFAO!!! :7 (Hey - I got the joke even if no one else did.)

And Vincent, I got your point too. You have a right to be pissed off. Your real product is time; it is finite and irreplaceable. Once squandered, it cannot be replaced and is simply lost income. Trust me kiddo: if I were to book time with you, I'd show up! Barring death, of course...or alien invasion...or I spunked in my pants walking up to your front door from sheer anticipation. :p
