I applaud his good intentions, but when will gay men stop dressing up like women to signal that they're gay? I don't know any gay men who wear women's clothing (or lipstick or pink hot-pants or feather boas) except drag performers and those struggling to find an identity.

Brazil is a weird place. It's the murder capital of the world for killing gays yet they have the Carnival which seems very gay to me.

While I applaud his activism and obvious enthusiasm....I'm not sure a graduation ceremony is the proper place for this display.

 

It's an important ceremony for MANY people who've worked HARD to get there.....

 

Unless it was a protest specifically about something that happened at the school....

 

Making it your own personal show....just doesn't sit right with me.
