There is a hotel that rents rooms by the hour ... I think it is on W 14 and 10th or something. They even have 'theme' rooms. I forgot the name though!

The Liberty Inn. Yeah, their website shows a $90 two hour rate.

Anyone out here fit into option #1 and willing to open a discussion??

I would be interested in finding out if anyone fits into this option in NYC as well. I have a couple of places in DC where I am already doing incalls renting a place by the hour. Works well.

Kevin,

Do you know anything about the place? Any reason NOT to use it?

Never been inside of it. Get the feeling it may be one of those places where the check-in clerk is behind bulletproof glass. No basis for that, just my impression.

Check it out and report back.

If it's that triangular building at the end of 14th, there once was an infamous gay sex club In the basement whose patrons used to emerge as I was going to work in the financial district. I was so jealous!!

It's definitely the triangular building. I can't speak to the rest.

This article was written 6 years ago, so prices should be around the same. It shows all the cheapest hourly hotels in the city, it even included the liberty hotel that you guys were talking about :p

The OP could call up each of those on the list to see what is cheapest

*Wow apparently herald square hotel is $75 bucks for 3 hours

thats a steal, now I know where to go when I can't host :p

I think the OP @nynakedtop should hire you and bring the escort for a 3some at your place!

oops thought it wasn't harm as he talked about meeting me in a thread a while ago.... lol

Btw, you probably heard this already, but your avatar pic is adorable!

You should consider adding it to your RTMN profile.

You mean THIS building on 14th Street around 9th Ave?

If so...the "infamous" club in the basement was "the Manhole".....or "J's hangout"...or if you're REALLY fucking old...."The Triangle"

I may have my sleazy clubs in the basement of triangular buildings in the West Village confused....but I don't think so.

And yes....you had reason to be jealous....we were having FUN!

Whoo i remember that place. One would start unbuckling their belt upon entering the dimly lit staircase descending downwards into the warren of cells....... happy memories. My gay neighbors own the restaurant in that building now.

I, the original poster (who incidentally is now living happily in New Jersey) never inferred anything about wanting it to be in Manhattan.

So the title of this thread SHOULD have been..."New Jerseyan's Dilemma - When Neither Party Can Host!"

Of course no one would have bothered to read that thread....but I digress.....

I believe the pictured building did have a sex club long ago. The Liberty Inn is one block further west. Both are triangular.

I tried that once it's gotten way popular because everyone uses it for a quick fuck.have to able to wait for a room to open no matter what time of day.

The sex club in the basement was called 'Hell Fire' or something like that.

How about the St Marks hotel near Astor Place? Many fond memories ... hope it is still open and renting by the hour

I had the same experience about 8 years ago - went in the middle of the day during the week and was told it would be a few hours wait. My companion at the time stated that he had the same experience many other times.

Many hotels offer blocks of time during the day from the sites and apps that others have referenced. It's easy enough to find something on fairly short notice. If you are looking at a specific area or hotel, you might even want to call them directly - my suspicion (based on my own experience and an educated guess) is that most hotels would happily work with you if they have rooms free.
