Looking for suggestions here...

I have a good friend who I have hired for many years now who is coming into NYC and staying with family. He cannot host. I, for various reasons, cannot host. Hotels are crazy expensive in New York.

Has anyone been in a similar situation who might know of a quick fix for this problem?

Sincerely appreciate any ideas!!!

1) contact an escort you know and ask him to rent you his place for 1 hour.

2) get a cheap hotel

3) bid on priceline every 2 hours trying to get a 3 1/2 stars hotel at discount rate.

4) use a public restroom

5) don't meet again and tell him next time he's coming to NYC to escort to get a room, most NYC clients want to travel and can't host.

I feel your pain. NYC hotels are insane right now.

If there's any chance of delaying until after the holidays,

prices should at least come out of the stratosphere by then

Good Luck!

Would you like to move this talk to "ask an escort"?

New title: Would you rent me your room for 1 hour?

if not just contact some of the other escorts you already know in NYC and tell them if they would rent you their room.

what a horrible dilemma to be stuck in......so sorry about that.....Happy Holidays!!

I get your point and I "liked" it... but c'mon.... we've all have complain about something vain/superficial on here, right?

After all this is a forum about escorts.

@nynakedtop, Just checked my Hotel Tonight App for NYC for this evening. I don't know what you can afford, but if you could put up with some 3 or 2 star hotels, you could get a room under $150 with tax. Log on at 9am EST on the app, check the available hotel rates for the day, you can even ask to be notified if a rate drops throughout the day. Here are some room rates :

  • The Shelburne NYC on Lex $93/night
  • The Tryp in Times Square $99/night
  • The Dumont NYC in Murray Hill $93/night

Other option is to go to a Day Use Hotel site . The Hilton Millenium in WTC runs a 10am-7pm rate that's just under $150.

Try Hotelsbyday.com - they rent out hotel room by a block of time, e.g. 9 am to 3 PM, etc.

wow - never knew of this site, and i consider myself to be an extremely informed traveler - a huge help!

But all the rates zoom towards the sky between Christmas and New Years!

Well, we're sorry! It's an expensive city.

@nynakedtop as a proud recipient of "Bozo T. Clown 2016 Typical Elitist Academic Snob Award" you should know that.

When will he arrive in NYC and when will he leave?

Have you considered taking the train to Brooklyn or the ferry to New Jersey? Hotels there are cheaper.

Next time just tell him to get a room if he wants to work in NYC, it will make financial sense for him as an escort to invest more in order to make more $ getting more clients.

6) Throw in a second escort who can host.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Lord, why not just shoot me and send the body to Miami?

Good idea, you'll be able to sleep and shower in the beach, hire there too...

Have you ever taken the subway? it's $2... each way but you can cross the Brooklyn bridge walking if you want to save the money... LOL

That's too far and might be too expensive.... the OP wants it to be in Manhattan.

I, the original poster (who incidentally is now living happily in New Jersey) never inferred anything about wanting it to be in Manhattan.

You're right, it was just an advice to another fellow NYC guy posting on here.

let us know how it goes.

But NYC is the only reference in your OP so one could easily assume...

Damn, get a hotel in Hoboken or near EWR.... they don't get any cheaper.

What's your budget? If it's around 1oo you won't have any problem to get the room.
