......thought this needed posting....bouncing from one "owner comes home to happy dog" youtube to the next, I, unfortunately, came across this one.....an abused dog "screams" like I've never heard before when it is comforted by a rescuer....fuck this!.....apologize for the dreary nature of this, but wanted to bring some awareness....may be too strong for some viewers......

Kudos to you for posting. I couldn't watch it, but I applaud you for bringing awareness to this tragic issue.

i am glad it had a happy ending.

I get so angry when i see or hear about people getting a pet and then getting rid of it when they get bored of it, or feel it doesnt fit them, grows up a little or their lifestyle or whatever reason.

I've donated to Hope For Paws (hopeforpaws.org) for years now. They regularly post videos of their rescue missions along with follows-ups on YouTube- and even though every video-story has a happy ending, I find it too traumatic to actually watch any of the videos. This is, by far, the most-watched rescue video:

To get to the "After" you have to work through the "Before." Works with people too.

When is the last time you did a random act of kindness?

As Paul Harvey used to say: "Now here's the rest of the story"

Have you ever seen a dog smile so much?

Frankie, the black chihuahua rescued from a drain pipe, has found his forever home! He was adopted by a wonderful family in Los Angeles and he now has four siblings, including three (rescued) chihuahuas and an Australian Cattledog. -- http://www.theforgottendog.org/frankie-looking-forever-home/
