Welcome to the forum! Just a clarification for you - the eyeglasses signify that you are following the thread, not that someone's reviewing it. (But why it would have disappeared I have no idea.)

Just for further clarification...how do the eyeglasses know I am following the thread, that is, what constitutes "following"?

Thanks

I posted a thread the other day about an up and coming Aussie football player who did gay porn. For whatever reason it was not posted on here. Any reason?

Was there anything "questionable" about the post? WIth respect to images in particular, but good advice in general, is to read Daddy's FAQs on posting.

In particular, this thread: http://m4m-forum.org/threads/posting-guidelines-keep-us-out-of-hot-water.75514/

Unless you change the default settings in your profile, you automatically follow threads you originate and threads you reply to.

You can choose to follow any thread - meaning that you'd then receive alerts as to when anyone posts a new message on that thread (and you can choose to get an email that will alert you to new posts as well). When you're following a thread, that eyeglass sign will appear on the main page of the subheading (for instance, on the "The Lounge" page this thread is on, on the right hand side of the page, next to the "replies" column).

If you click on your account (click where your screenname is at the top right side of the screen, next to "inbox" and "alerts"), and look for "preferences" (on the left side of the account page), you will find a prompt that says "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply" (and another that says "and receive email notifications of replies") - if you check that box, the system will set you up to follow any thread you start or reply to. OR - you can manually decide to follow or un-follow any thread by looking for the "watch thread" (or "unwatch thread") prompt at the top right side of any thread.

I hope I explained that without being too confusing lol.

And yes, I believe rvwnsd is right, that the opt-in to automatically watch threads you create or post in is already set as a default.

You mean the one where you revealed his real name? You're lucky that it was taken down; Normally that would have cost you a time-out. [
