You know, I am one clumsy person! I think that comes from my inner geek…Yes computers excite me! But I was working out today and what happened? I walk right into a bar of sorts; my immediate remark to my trainer is “that is going to leave a mark” I was quoting Chris Farley. However it got me thinking, Damn I really am one clumsy person. To this day I walk into doors while to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night LOL, not to mention it seems the couch has always offered some way for me to trip over it.

I thought it was funny how I am clumsy, so are you guys making clumsiness your highest priority? LOL

In my experience, people who are clumsy, forgetful, bad spellers ;-) and seem somewhat"lost" are usually ok people.

Whereas maticulous, prissy, over concerned with stupid detail, folk are a pain in the you know what.

I care about my friends, and therefore clean house before they come over-it's not that I care what they think about me-it is that I want them to be comfortable. The same with my clothes and grooming-I feel better when I am clean, and thus I make an effort.

prissy folks bore me to tears-give me a man who cares more about what is really important in this world,a lusty man with big appetites wanting to go explore and rip open convention.

Give me a big "clumsy"guy and I will kiss his "owies"away.

Bet you won't bang your head on the same beam Vincent-lesson learned.

PS,I have walked into many a bar! :D

Oh Vincent,

I hear you I am the clumsiest person I know, I am the person that trips over nothing then looks back to see what it was that I tripped over! I have bruises all the time! So Vincent I feel for you! And I wish I was there to make you feel better :-) Of course I might hurt you trying to help you, sometimes others are victims of my clumsiness. I am also very scatterbrained! Oh well I don't worry about it, this story was funny cause the other day I walked into the mirror at the gym! I didn't hurt myself but it was funny, of course I looked over to see a young girl trying not to laugh. I told her it was okay go ahead and laugh it was funny.

Vince -

Let it be said and heard that you most certainly are not clumsy in bed. Come to think of it you didn't trip once on the way to your hotel. BTW - Congratulations on the spelling and proper use of every word in your post. Are you getting help?

Ok, I am not ALONE! Ha, I rember when I was in first grade I must have been looking the other way while walking (not recommended) and when I turned my head a nice pole was there to meet and greet me lol. I got a concussion at like 7 or something very fun.

I hate it when I do clumsy things right in front of others, If it is a women I say to my self...Hey I am gay so I don’t have to do anything special for you so Blah!

My sister and I fall upstairs. I don't know if it is a genetic thing or what but we trip going up! And I don't stumble ... I usually do a full body stair surfing ... going up! And I always do it when there are people around. It is really scary to see and people often react with fright. I don't get too hurt but it does leave marks. Aside from a bloody nose once I never really fully injured myself tripping up.

The always graceful,

Vincent,

I like to think that I'm not clumsy but rather just distracted when I bump into the wall going around a corner. I know for a fact that when I'm really busy and moving around doing a lot, of all sorts, of minor, dumb physical tasks I'm a real first class clumsy clutz. However, it is nice to rationalize that I'm NOT really clumsy and believe that it just happenes becuase my mind is on more important things -- heh right!!!!! Believe me you are NOT alone and as someone else said on this thread you are obviously not clumsy in bed so "Who Could Ask for Anything More".

LOL I sometimes think hey I am not clumsy either I just thinking about something important....then I think damn I have been walking into walls for 20yrs and maybe It is just me being clumsy.

Now for you travelers who trips over the suit cases? I know I do.

You were 7 – I was 65. Walking to an outdoor jazz concert with my family, I was slightly ahead of everyone else. Turned to say something to the group and ran smack into a light pole. I have been told (many times by my respectful children) that it has been named in my honor. Did the same thing with a parking meter while in college. One of these days maybe I’ll learn to walk and chew gum – AND watch where I’m going. I always seem to do these graceful turns in front of an audience that never lets me forget them! :+

Maybe we can bump into each other sometime!!! :9

Ok, you really got me with that one. One time, while traveling in Boston, I was getting onto the up escalator with my suitcase. I turned back to get one last glimpse of the cute fellow behind me, and tripped over the suitcase and fell down the escalator. One torn calf muscle later, I had no-one to blame but my own clumsiness.

Hey first off I am glad my post got you to say something, secound ouch I think I have checked out a few hotties my self and walked into a door or two. I seem however to always do it with one of my very close freinds.

One side job Maverick and I do is private home cleaning. (Yeah, I know, I should be making 6 figures from my escorting. Ah, well, ...) One morning I cleaned a client's home and then that evening walked into a glass door I myslef had cleaned that clearly!

I am also reminded of a great joke I first heard from a stage crew boss. What's the difference between an actor and a dancer? If you have an electric cord strung across a walkway, well, just anyone can come and trip over it. If you have a chalk line where the electric cord used to be and someone trips over the chalk? That's an actor. If you erase the chalk and someone comes and trips over where the chalk used to be? That's a dancer. :D

Yes, I can relate to biting your tongue while eating. But I usually just end up spilling something on myself while eating regardless of how careful I'm being. A trait I picked up from my grandmother.

I'm so clumsy I once twisted my ankle from turning around too quickly. I've stubbed my toe on those concrete bumpers in parking lots...once so badly I lost the toe nail. I've tipped over my desk chair once while leaning over to pick up something that fell on the floor.

The other day at the gym I almost knocked over a piece of equipment on myself. But it wasn't as bad as my trainer, who went to answer the telephone and walked into the door. Even good looking, athletic straight boys can be clumsy. :-)

GOD DAMN Scorpio, I feel bad for you (NOT). You and VM will be perfect together then :p Enjoy your time & watch your toes ;) I remember just walking in the mall when I seen him here and he started to trip over something as we were walking from store to store, but their was nuttin to trip over. Maybe it was the bags he was carrying that made him be unbalanced :7

When in doubt I whip it out :+

Scorpio - Under normal circumstances, Maverick doesn't let me wear white while I'm eating. Thank goodness he' good at getting spots out, anyway. }(

I've been in this apartment almost 3 years and STILL occasionally walk right through the screen on the sliding patio door. Fortunately, it just sorta pops out of its track. I end up standing there startled, but holding a screen door in my hands. I used to feel pretty sheepish about it but I've had several guests do exactly the same thing so it must just be something about the space.

We have an amazing capacity to completely ignore what's right in front of us sometimes.

I'm not sure if being clumsy is meant to be the highest priority. I was in Las Vegas for 1 1/2 days last week on company business. I was with five co-workers. For two of them, this was their first time to sin city. Last Monday night, one particular person, he graduated from college in June. So he's pretty much new to the corporate world and plus being in Vegas, he was very much overwhelmed. He made a terrible mistake. He cashed in his paycheck and spent every penny of his pay at the Poker tables at Mandalay Bay. He got carried away and could not believe his eyes that he gambled every red cent.

He was livid and what I did was get the others together and pull our resources and give him a temporary loan, until he can pay all of us back. The worst part for him was that he had to explain to his girlfriend what he had done. I havent seen him since last Wednesday, different travel schedules and I wont be seeing him until at the end of this week at the company christmas party. I felt really sorry for the guy, just one lousy mistake. It's gotta be tough being a kid nowadays.

I dont think this guy was being clumsy...just plain stupid. Though I am happy to see you and your buddies helped him out.

I am not one to preach though as I have done MANY stupid things in my life. One that comes to mind is riding my bike in the rain, to say the lest I paid for it.
