For the record about half of my regulars at home pay after still, and probably 20 percent of any new clients pay after. I am ok with these particular instances. Why? Because, these particular clients already know the fees, communicate of front themselves how long of a session they want, so I feel secure off the bat that they will pay the appropriate fees, and if they are short in any way, they communicate that or are honest and sometimes we are able to come to an agreement. For me at least, payment at the end leads to great tips under these circumstances, because the client feels better about the overall session. At home in the Los Angeles area, I have had a new client who tipped me 160 above my rate on two separate occasions by paying at the end. What is such a shame is that in this lifestyle there are such horrendous scammers on both sides of the fence, both escorts and clients. And both sides feel they need to take measures to protect themselves. And sometimes neither can understand, respect, and compromise with the other.

f there is an 'agenda', it is to warn people!

No money up front for a first time encounter, or from a well-reviewed escort that you've used in the past. This is usually part of a larger plan to con / swindle / grift.

Caveat: Don't turn your back.

Thanks for bringing back the thread from 2010 as well as the above comments. I always enjoy your posts, especially in the politics forum, now I wish I had told you sooner.

Peace!

Once in London I met an escort who was recommended to me by a former escort. When I called him on the phone using his real name he was surprised but then I gave him my name and he said his friend told him I would call. So he came to my room and we started playing naked on the bed, at one point I told him his fee was in an envelope on the night table on his side..... he stopped what we were doing...took the envelope and started counting the money !!!!! I did not say anything and we resumed our activities . The next day I sent him an e-mail thanking him but told him what he did was a big no no for future clients.

FWIW I like Bart's comment above about preferring to avoid "never" and "always."

Generally speaking, with first time clients I prefer after a few minutes of rapport-building to ask that they simply set the dinero on a table somewhere. It's a way of avoiding post-session "OMG I forgot to go to the ATM!" moments. I do not go over there and count it.

For everyone else, I generally prefer to get right into the fun business: conversation, flexing . . . having my fly unzipped. :)
