You know, in some ways, she looks great for her age ... except that she is trying to hold on to certain things (like the long red hair) that just aren't flattering at 82. If she just made a little ... adjustment ... to the hair and make-up, she'd look good instead of looking kind of scary. (IMHO, of course.)

yeah, the long red hair is not really helping her. I have no problem with her keeping it red though. I woman can dye their hair until they are dead and it will look fine but if a man tries it then it does not look good.
