There must be a market for it. No judgement here. There seem to be quite a few FTM escorts advertising these days. I sometimes wonder why one wouldn't just hire a woman, but I can't get into somebody else's head.

Exactly! I have been reading posts on this Forum for a long time, and in all truth, much of what I read produces the same response "Ew!". However, I'm also sure that my proclivities would produce the same response in many other members of this Forum. To each his own.

If you feel disgusted or disturbed, that says nothing about the picture or the model, but says tons about you. You need to open your mind. At least you should be more careful when you post comments that may be offensive to valuable members of our community. I think you should apologize.

Stop the silliness. He most certainly was not just "as judgemental as [he'd] characterized [you]." You posted a link to a trans man's escort ad to tell everyone how "disturbed" you are "just looking at this." You clearly expressed being disturbed and, implicitly, being disgusted. Unlike what you did in your original post, LatBear4Blk didn't express disgust or discomfort with your very body, or your right to use an escort service to support yourself via sex work. Instead, he called you out, in probably the most tactful way possible, and advised you to be more cautious about your language, and sensitive to the diverse community that this forum represents and strives to give voice to. Your assertion of a false equivalency is absurd, and, quite frankly, beneath your dignity and that of the rest of us. Just man up, say you're sorry, and move on.

It took me awhile to parse out what you were really saying cause your syntax is a step above. And a high five to you for leveling absolute devastation upon my manhood with your kick to the balls. But much like LatBear4Blk, your response was to scold me like a second grader and shower me with way too much righteous indignation. I'm certain some here applaud you. Look, I fully expected to get worked over for this, but this ad, and my subsequent post referencing it, had nothing to do with the trans community. I promise you that I'm intimately familiar with a vagina, in fact I hit those more frequently than I suck cock. That said, my objection to that ad had more to do with the tastelessness of its layout than the content, and yes, some of the subsequent pics that followed were equally as garish, in my opinion. But all good, clearly the compilation of responses indicate I probably have offended many, so here's the olive branch. I'm vanquished and now feel so much worse for ever bringing it up. Can we have a beer and a stogie now? Let's light this fucker up!

Then you should have specified you found the photograph choices to be tasteless, and not the idea of trans men. The way your original post was structured indicated you found trans men repellant. How one says things is often more noted than what is actually said.

Wow! A real come to Jesus meeting going on here. I enjoy a lively debate from time to time. OK, Forum members....help me out here. Didn't the IML organization select a FTM individual as their Mr. IML several years ago and that individual went on to make male porn? Somewhat off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread since FTM appears to be the topic of interest.

If I'm not mistaken this FTM individual has had sexual reassignment surgery and the picture on the RM ad is the end result. I saw a TV documentary on this topic. It was very interesting. Surprisingly, the sexual reassignment surgery epicenter is in a small town in Colorado.
