Fresh young cream! Yum! Much better than the aged cheese I originally had in mind.

 

Is it odd that I like all my cheese at room temp? I even prefer my greek yogurt at room temp.

In the interest of clearing the air, and moving on once and for all, I am going to admit something that I have never told any other human being.

I cant tell you how much I miss Jon Stewart....I mean the Daily Show is ok with Trevor Noah and since he switched to starting the show standing up he seems more relaxed but the whole show has a different feel without Jon. Plus being on the West Coast the show was actually on at 8 PM which made it watchable for me. Steve is doing pretty good on the Late Show and both James Cordon and Seth Meyer are both funny with pretty good shows but they are on so late....Samantha Bee's show is the closest but only on one night a week and with the current news cycle how great would Jon have been?!?! OH and Arby's is pretty good..

Nothing wrong with liking Arbys.....it beats being a meth-head. As far as vices go, it's a mild one....

I have been following this thread since its inception early this morning. I've checked it several times even while working on a special project at the office. It's been one damn compelling drama. It reminds me of one of those hilarious melodramatic telenovelas on Latin American television. So much has occurred here with twists, turns, and secret identities that you just can't make this shit up.

 

One thing has struck me in particular. Why hasn't management closed this thread down by now?Other threads have been shutdown in very short order for way less than what has occurred here in all 201+posts. Daddy is a very patient man and puts up with much more around here at times than perhaps he should. I know that he will often let people dig their own grave and will then show some folks the door. Most are allowed to come back after a cooling down. But some are still not allowed back in the sandbox and for good reason. I don't miss any of those on permanent time-out given all the shit they stirred.

 

I sense that this thread may be coming to its ultimate end very soon. A couple weeks ago I was discussing the latest drama on this site regarding JD and Steven Kessler with an escort I'm about to hire. We both felt that another big blow up was about to occur. It was a matter of when, not if, this would happen. We both surmised something would blow prior to or just after the upcoming events in Palm Springs. I have felt, after being a participant here since late 1999, that a big dramatic revelation was about to occur. We seem on the verge of that now.

 

For newbie escorts and clients posting on this forum this situation, and some of the lesser dramas, can feel distressing. They can make one easily question the validity of participating on this forum. Let me assure you, compared to those dramas most of these dust ups pale in comparison to the early days of this site under HooBoy. This site survived those situations and it will ultimately survive this one.

 

The current situation regarding JD reminds me of an earlier public meltdown by an escort on this forum at the turn of this century. Perhaps some of the old silverbacks here will recall the particular circumstances. This individual had a very dramatic unraveling here and eventually wound up in a treatment facility. Some tried to help him during his time of trouble. Others, perhaps for their own twisted jollies, enabled his delusions ultimately making the situation worse. Most simply watched the train wreck occur and may or may not felt sympathy for the young man. I will not name the escort because he actually returned here a few years ago for a brief stint.

 

A few years ago I went through therapy to deal with some unpleasant issue related to my work. My therapist and I discussed various personality types including Narcissistic Personality Disorder. In short, he refused to treat such patients as they are very difficult to deal with. He sends them to a colleague who specializes in such individuals. Earlier this week there was a video posted of how to manage a NPD individual. I posted a link to symptoms and treatments from the Mayo Clinic in that thread.

 

I'm not going to list all the traits but we have seen many of them in this situation. Behind the scenes manipulation. Blatant campaigning for a valued prize. Subtle and direct harassment of escorts and clients. Desperate acts designed to force people to be a "friend."

 

Many other situations have occurred that are just too numerous to mention much less catalog. Until such time as the individual admits he has a problem and takes concrete steps toward recovery the situation will not improve. My fear is that circumstances could become horribly worse before it gets better.

 

It is my hope this latest controversy is the last one. If it is not then it would be better if the enablers cease adding to this person's psychodrama in some misguided attempt to help. For his detractors, even if it's well deserved given the damage caused, just lay off and let it go if that's even possible. We can all move forward here in a positive direction if we so choose.

 

There, I've provided my two cents for whatever value it might add to this discussion. Now it's time for one very large gin and tonic.

No, but they DID have Tanqueray. Not T Ten, but the regular stuff. That will do in a pinch. Makes a lousy martini (bombay for that) but an excellant G&T.

I used to LOVE that show! Had the puppet and everything. I used to entertain the younger kids in my elementary school with my juvenile attempts at ventriloquism.
