I confided in a friend that I started to hire, and was made to feel sad and pathetic for having to stoop to it. I guess that's something I need to deal with in my own head.

 

The fault is more your friend's. Instead of being happy that you were being proactive about your needs and doing something that makes you happy, or at least keeping an open mind and asking you questions about why this was the right answer for you now, he made you feel bad about yourself. That's not very supportive.

He has succeeded in doing that. It got me thinking, and maybe wondering about where I'm at and how I got to this point. I have to admit, it does make me feel more than a little sad sometime. Just something I need to deal with in my own head. (Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer on a sunny Sunday morning).

My own reality is painfully mundane. Like hiring, this forum gives me an opportunity to escape that reality. Many of the guys I've interacted with on here have been great with advice and guidance, and I feel a little more comfortable baring my soul without judgment.

I'm sorry for your experience and am glad too to have the forum.

 

I too have, with great hesitation and shame, confided in a few friends about my hiring. Thankfully they were quite understanding and didn't shame me. One friend even hires himself.

Besides this one guy, and this other guy (top secret) yes I am. I don't get out and have a lot of fun. However, there are two guys out there that I stop by and see once a year to get my itches scratched.

Everyone knows I'm gay but not everyone knows I'm a happy hooker. I've found the forum to be my happy hooker home where I can talk shop with clients and hookers alike and not be too harshly judged like I would in the face to face people world. I've also found some great support from Daddy and a few others who I wont name out of privacy that have helped me dust the dirt off when I've fallen and also have given me a dose of tough love. We are often at each others throats like a crazy family but when someone needs real help we are there. I can't think of any where else on the web this happens that I've experienced.
