Yup ? Move over Abercrombe, the BIG boys are here....

On Tuesday, major agency IMG Models announced the creation of a new plus-size men's division titled "Brawn."

Ivan Bart, president at IMG, dished on his decision:

"Brawn has a body positive message. Brawn is physical strength. The body positive messaging and size diversity is something that's relevant and something that continues to be on everybody's mind. We have to extend the conversation for men."

Zach Miko is the first model to be signed on, and it sounds like he's pretty excited, as he revealed the news to his Instagramfollowers, writing:

"What an honor to finally announce I have signed with @imgmodels I am so grateful and humbled Repost from@imgmodels using @RepostRegramApp - NOW REPRESENTING: @zachmiko! Click the link in bio to find out more. #@leonardocorredor"

Such amazing news!

And in a new interview withBuzzFeed, Zach continued to gush about the monumental announcement, adding:

"Being a man of size I never imagined for a minute that this would be a possible career. Then, Ivan told me about his dreams for the fashion industry: diversity, inclusion, evolution. I knew then I hadn't just found an agency, I had found a home. The Brawn division is going to open up the fashion world to the everyman. Fashion is ever-changing, but more importantly it is ever-evolving."

This message forum has probably been the most hostile group to the plus size community I have ever been exposed to in my life based on the postings I have read but maybe they will surprise me.

Well these forums are mostly based in "Fantasy" and unless you are a chubby chaser, Big boys are probably NOT the fantasy. But it really all depends on where the BIG is

This'd be a nice change. I'm definitely 'plus'-sized, I do most of my shopping at the big and tall stores, and the advertisements rarely, rarely show big guys wearing the clothes. Zack barely qualifies as a 'man of size' - by model standards maybe, but not in the general population.

Some of the unsolicited comments (advice) to posters about getting their weight under control have been cruel and unwarranted. I don't really recall a lot of comments towards escorts, but I can see why they might have happened. This is not a dating site. I know that what I am open to dating in my personal life is very different to what I am open to hiring. I hire in order to be with the super hot guy that is not available to me in my personal life.

"My main message to people is, 'Why not now? Why can't you feel attractive the way you are right now?, '" he urged. "It's great to be more fit, more healthy, more active, but that doesn't mean who you are right now is invalid, or that who you are right now isn't an attractive person." Zach Miko.

Confidence is so hot! Lucky wife!

I think this is terrific, as our unrealistic standards of beauty are moving further and further toward the absurd. We all need to stop looking at ourselves (and others) and picking out what is flawed. I know it's hard to do when we are constantly bombarded of imagery of idealized body types, but we must look deeper. I try to take care of myself, I eat well, go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week, minimize the stress in my life, yet due to a combination of genetics, a passion for great food, desire for a balanced life and an unwillingness to sacrifice my health and happiness with steroids, i don't have the trimmed and toned body that so many lust after. I recognize that such a body could possibly make me more money, but rather than focus on that, I'm gonna just keep loving myself, and doing what I can to exercise not just my body, but my heart and mind. If you change the way you see the world, you will change the way you see yourself.

I tellpeople I perfect....prefectly flawed. And as I get older ( 4 months I'll be 40) I am ok with being flawed and perfectly.

So, you are LITERALLY saying I'm worth less without that body? Thank God not everyone is so superficial. I'm happy that I attract clients that look deeper.

Sir, when you buy a car, the price is based on all the xtra's. The less it has, the cheaper it is... and there you have it, superficial or not ! I mean afterall, most guys can get a less than perfection guy on their own, for Free.... As was previously mentioned, guys hire to achieve their Fantasy man. Now if you are someones Fantasy, you are in luck for Full price :p

You just compared people to cars. People are not the sum of their parts, there is so much more to us than our dicks, pecs, abs and biceps. I'm not trying to change your mind, as I don't need to change others to be happy myself, I'm only letting my perspective be known in hopes it will inspire others to love themselves more.

I TOTALLY agree, but this IS an escort site, so I am sorry if I was discussing this in the context of physical beauty, which for the most part is why guys Hire. Certainly there are exceptions, granted, but mostly men hire to be intimate with a beautiful man (or at least what THEY consider beautiful) And the greater the beauty and demand for an escort, the higher his price. Those are pretty much facts... I meant no disrespect to you.

I agree with you that physical attraction is important when selecting an escort you wish to share time with, but like you said, it's a matter of what THEY consider beautiful, and that's where we shouldn't make assumptions or generalizations. Based on the pic you shared and things you've said, I can tell that traits like a super toned body, are what's beautiful to you, and there's nothing wrong with that. For some people, a more burly and older man might be what does it for them. Also, many guys want an escort who can carry on a great conversation, or one who is really experienced and can teach them new things.

I bring to my clients experience, imagination, openness, compassion and a great amount of love. To them that matters more than the fact that my ass is a little dimply. Most of the guys that I regard as the "Best in the biz", don't have "perfect bodies". They are in their 40's and 50's and bring to their sessions so much experience and passion, which must be learned and can't be faked.
