I'd say those who don't want to waste any time getting naked. I can understand and always appreciate that sense of urgency and excitement.

The one and only time I met with someone I had him meet me in my hotel lobby bar. We had drinks together first. I felt more comfortable and it was hot - felt more "normal" like two guys hanging in a bar who decided to get it ohnnnn

I have met up in a public place and also gone directly to an escort's place on other occasions. One time we met in public because the escort was picking me up at my hotel to go to dinner, on others we had met in the hotel lobby, usually because my room key was needed to use the lift. I don't have a strong preference either way, but I can see the point of the arguments both ways.
