The Olympics coverage here in Brazil (which is somewhat less chauvinistic than the American coverage) actually shows matches and events in which nations other than Brazil are participating! :o This match was shown here. My recollection is that the announcers said this was Chile's first Olympic gold medal ever, in any sport, so their, um, excitement is understandable. They'll be national idols for the rest of their days!

I watched the matches, not only because I love tennis, but because I have long thought that Fernando Gonzalez is one of the sexiest players around--that sensuous face, and all that body hair!
