STARBUCKS NYC: RENTMEN LOUNGE?

On a couple of late evenings, I've spotted working guys hanging (and texting) at Starbucks in NY (including one guy whom I've booked a couple of times). Is Starbucks the place to wait for appointments? Do clients also come here to arrange meetings?

Well, there is a fellow in NYC well known for meeting first-time in-call clients at a Starbucks near his place (looking them over first, rather than allowing them to come directly to his home).

 

Beyond that, curious minds want to know ...

 

1. Do you mean several guys gathered at one time (like in the front parlor at an Old West brothel, only instead of tinkling the ivories on a tinny piano, Miss Kitty is now a barista ), or do you mean that you recognized one or two guys at a time more than once?

 

2. Are you talking about one Starbucks in particular? (Not suggesting you call attention to which one it is, just wondering if it's only one.)

I ONCE SPOTTED THREE GUYS SITTING AROUND A TABLE, ONE OF THEM A GUY I'D BOOKED A COUPLE OF TIMES.

You'd be shocked, but a lot of us don't even know each other and have only MAYBE brushed each other during mutual meetings with clients or from Porn. Everything is online. No one hooks at the townhouse anymore, and there's no official place that's known for escorts hanging out, particularly with each other. I'm sure it's different among the more mature guys but I avoid it because all they want to do is: tell you how many clients they see, tell you how much they make, ask you how much you make, gossip, be nosey and only talk about themselves. I'll take an order of General tsos, Netflix and giving Wilbur some tummy rub love instead
