So there may be a bit of a problem with this ad. Torin also appears to have an HourBoy ad. Both ads have one pic in common and publicize the same contact phone number.

Unfortunately, on the HourBoy ad, at least one of the photos is a fake. The black and white photo of a person in a shower is, I believe, from a 1991 Calvin Klein spread. And I think the model in question is Marcus Schenkenberg.

Maybe some of the photos on his Rentmen ad are actually of him. I don’t know. But I don’t trust folks who use fake photos. Sorry!

Hmmm...It certainly is a photo of Marcus Schenkenberg. In that particular shower photo, there certainly is a resemblance between Torin and Schenkenberg, in other Schenkenberg photos, not so much. The thing is, Torin didn't need that photo to build an ad if the other photos are genuine (those seem definitely not to be of Mr. Schenkenberg.) It does make one wonder what exactly is going on here.

Replying to my own reply:

The face pic is of a model/pilot named Mo Andrew living in South Africa.

Nice catch! So I think it's pretty safe to say at this point that the guy is a total fake. Sigh.

You caught it. I just followed up. From his RM private photos, the guy has something to offer (I suspect those may be real--or not.) From these more graphic photos, he would seem to bear a passing resemblance to the two men whose photos he co-opted. Upshot is the ad, if not the guy himself, is bogus. Enough information to make an informed decision here.

Great job, Sherlock!

How do you match photos to determine that their fakes? He unlocked for me on RM, and one of the photos resembled this Middle Eastern kid who used to do amateur videos several years ago. I'm not sure how to cross check it.

In answer to your first question. If it really looks too good to be true, it probably is--except when it isn't. Pictures that look like fashion models are often pictures of fashion models, and alas not pictures of the escort.

You can do a simple on-line check of any image (not foolproof, but results can be very revealing) by right clicking on the photo (you may have to left click first to open it) and saving the image. Then go to Google Image Search and simply drag the photo to the search box in the center of the screen. Voila! Generally, if you get nothing, it suggests that the photo is original or at least has not been circulating on line on different sites. You may be able to match the photo to another escort ad or to a Facebook or Twitter account belonging to the same person. You may then be able to determine that the person on Facebook, Twitter, etc. is also advertising as an escort--in other words, the ad is legit. Or, you may reasonably conclude that it is extremely unlikely that the person pictured on the other sites you have found is also working as an escort (oh, he is also an Olympic soccer champion?) If the guy has a private FB page, he may or may not be using the same name he uses in the escort ad--that would make sense. Check dates--was the picture in the current escort ad actually taken in Bulgaria in 1991?

In the current case, one of the guy's face pics is of a German fashion model from the 1990's, and another is of a model/pilot living in Johannesburg. Not a good sign to put it mildly. I also opened the private pictures, but they did not yield a match when I did a search. Altogether, however, this ad has too many irregularities.

But here is the thing. Occasionally one can go too far trying to run down a fraudulent ad. Last year I did some extensive research on a gorgeous guy traveling the US whose pictures matched a fashion model and personality on Russian TV. Later someone else connected him to a FB page of a guy living in Miami. Common sense would suggest that the escort running the ad had simply stolen the pictures--case closed. Not so. Turns out it is the same guy!!! There are in fact a lot of guys from Eastern Europe who wind up emigrating to the US and then go into escort work. Anyway, the upshot is that I had done the guy an injustice and ultimately succeeded only in scaring him off. The odds were enormous that the pictures were stolen--only they weren't. Can't win them all.

If you can get third party verification (credible reviews, recommendations on this forum) I strongly recommend it.

Sometimes. however, I do take that leap of faith. Recently, I hired someone (ok, there were two of them) who looked really hot, had a well written profile, but no reviews and no one else had any info on them. I just had a good feeling about them. As it turned out, I lucked out BIG TIME. Couldn't have had a better experience. Go with your instincts (not necessarily your hormones.)

That is an ad for Sereen, an anti-semetic nutcase.

He's advertised under a number of different names in the past and has done some porn films (http://sereen.com/pinkpussy.jpg), but if you want his real point of view, check out his website http://sereen.com/royaltyfree.html: ("If Jewish people belief that the Jews are the chosen people, chosen to be in a covenant with God tell them my blood is 100% Jew free . . . . Now the world will see why Adolf Hitlor burn them all")

("stop the Jews in the media from spreading lies and sobotage . . . .")("I am SEREEN. My blood is 100% JEW FREE.")([O]nly one people, that has never progressed beyond the Stone Age, has continued to practice the blood rite and ritual murder. This people are know to the world as Jews. Arnold Toynbee, a noted scholar, has called the Jews "a fossil people")

To be fair, he has issues with most organized religions, but has particular issues with Jews.

He used to advertise as being 18...and ran the ads for, oh, 10 or 15 years. He also turned up several years ago on a plastic surgery reality TV show.

  • 2 months later...

I woke up morning to a email from Torin giving me the password to his private pics. It seems that the body pics are all of the same guy, and he even has the scruffy beard. Could be his maybe? I initially inquired when I was looking at travel to LA. If I were closer to him, I think I'd book out of curiosity now.

Same situation with me...got his email this morning. Maybe his business is taking a hit due to the "exposure"?

Also got an unsolicited email with password to private pics. The private pics look consistent and legit. Still, the main face pic is an established fake. If Torin is interested in rehabilitating his credibility, more damaging than the authenticity of the pictures is the suggestion on the forum that he is this character named Sereen. If I were the escort in question and it had been falsely alleged that I was a rabid anti-Semite, I would have posted a vigorous denial. Wouldn't you?
