Tonights dinner is steak, sauteed onions, sweet potato tater tots, a mixed green salad with mixed berries, avacado, red onion and a lemon type dressing and q glass or two of red wine. I think it is pretty nutritious. I had to try to make this as diabetic friendly as I could since someone has issues.

Steak is the only beef I eat. My favorite is tenderloin and a close second is top sirloin, two of the leanest cuts there are.

I'll eat just about any kind of beef. With the right seasining and fat I can make it yummy. Now chicken I pretty much prefered grilled or fried. But I'll take fried before grilled. Mmmmmm fried chicken.

Well the British Parliament is wrong about Trump too :)

I don't think the British study is that surprising. There are lots of things we do on a day-to-day basis that carry a cancer risk, sometimes great, sometimes slight. Eating crusty bread carries an increased cancer risk because of the AGE's (advanced glycation end products) in the crust. I don't see anybody giving up focaccia and croissants to decrease their cancer risk.

Whenever I visit my sister and her partner in Atlanta they always take me out for southern food, either Mary Mac's or the Colonnade.

Oh, don't forget the Silver Skillet on 14th street. It's only open for breakfast and lunch, but it's pretty dang good for a hole in the wall diner.

So far the best fried chicken (besides my late, great mother's) is Babe's in Dallas, TX!!! :):):)

Sounds like a great meal. However, I didn't see a green vegetable with your steak.... green beans, broccoli, spinach, etc. . naughty, naughty. haha. But really, that's a well balanced meal.
