For the last week I've had someone who's been authorized to speak on my behalf for my medical stuff try to reach the patient insurance chick to talk about my insurance and figure some stuff out. Last week he tried multiple times to reach her with no returned phone calls. I had this afternoon off from my second job so I called when I got home. I left a VM and waiting just over two hrs, no call back. I call back again and leave a nasty msg calingher just about every potty word in the book and threatened to flip desks tomorrow. Finally shortly after 830pm she calls back. Really? It takes me loosing my temper ready to flip the bitchs desk to get a call back? Sorry but I just needed to rant.

Hugs,

Greg

PS Her reason why she didn't call back last week is she didn't see the authorization on my records even though the PA put it in there.

Sometimes the threat of flipping desks actually *is* necessary. It just is.

(Not my normal preference, but not one I'll hesitate to use when the requirement presents itself.)

I have to go in and talk to her in person. I might still actually flip a desk. I'm still fuming. Two groups you don't piss off, the latins and Irish. Both of which I have in me.:mad::mad:

You have three strikes there, bucko. Add the gays to those you don't piss off. :p

LOL I told a friend of mine about this and she said the lady didn't want a pissed off queen tearing through her office. I corrected her and told her princess ha-ha.

Well, it seems unlikely that the threat of violence prompted her return call. I have been known to throw around the occasional epithet, once telling someone from the Sears main office....."I do not care if I have to come to Chicage and rape Mr. Sears himself to get an answer, someone better get back to me before the end of the day. " Twenty minutes later, a call. Of course, a patient who was looking for drugs left a message on my answering machine that if the prescription wasn't ready in the morning, he was going to rip me a new one. He came in and got a letter discharging him from the practice and a promise that one more word and the police would be called. He said one more word and then some and the police were called. He was wearing his post office uniform when he made threats, resulting in the PostMaster General for NJ getting involved after he was arrested. Long story but there was a bit of a police chase before he was corralled.

In exchange for dropping the charges so that he could keep his job, he agreed to anger management a written apology and to never darken my doorstep again.
