Strange choice, but it's my favorite song by Piaf -- The Theme from the film "Exodus."

Piaf always put a great deal of emotion into her songs, but especially this song.

My first exposure to Piaf came as a teenager in a gay dance bar, which had a couple of her recordings on their jukebox (there are a couple of clues in that statement about how old I am). One of them became my theme song: "Non, je ne regrette rien."
