Related but not necessarily on thread, I think we have hinted at this, but it does happen: companions are also very thoughtful gift-givers. I would be remiss if I didn't publicly thank a couple of guys by sharing 3 short stories:

 

• All my pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) were rescued from animal shelters. My dogs are possessive but harmless and my cat constantly wants affection. When hosting, they can be a little too needy. I have had a couple of guys be put off by their behavior - rightfully so. Therefore, I typically get hotel accommodations. Anyway, I have a companion that always - without fault- shows up with treats at my home in LA. He feeds my pets and they now trust him with me. This holiday season he showed up with gourmet treats...im starting to think my pets have fallen for him
  
• I have a companion who is a gifted writer. For Hanukkah last year, he wrote me a short story about a particularly awesome trip we took. Now I have the memories and the short story to remind me of our shared time.
  
• I never learned how to swim (!!!). When one of my guys found out, he made it his personal mission to teach me how. For my bday, he gave me a coupon book - handwritten- to "cash in" swimming lessons. I have 10 lessons, and I'm up to learning how to float. I can't wait to find out more about how to stroke
  

Thoughtfulness (not necessarily $$$) is all we need in the holiday season. -TR
