There was a produce market around the corner from me. The merchandise never looked very good, but it was incredibly cheap and always very fresh. They closed. I really miss them.

A local chain in San Diego often sells "imperfect" fruits and veggies. I always buy it because it is reasonably priced, tastes the same, and will meet the same fate as its perfect brethren after I chew it.
