AllAmericanJock on rentmen, http://rentmen.com/AllAmericanJock used to only show a muscular torso shot, now he's showing all these body and face pics... unfortunately, they are not of him.. and he's a Gold member? That does cost money right?

So sad.. at least he got the name right Coleton.. which after a quick search.. brings me to this guy: https://twitter.com/ColetonC4 Have to love the first tweet that comes up.. guess he just found out AAJ was using his photos and name. :p

I don't understand it either. I was looking at a "premium" (meaning he pays for his ad) escort's profile today and everything seemed to check out: his wording had proper grammar and sounded nice and colloquial, the pictures were very nice although no face pic. But after some due diligence I found that the pictures belonged to a guy on Instagram, living on another continent!

Unlike rentboy, I think that rentmen.com will actually take down ads if you report that they're fraudulent. You should reach out to them.

Thanks to some great advice I received earlier, I did.. and Rick is taking care of it.

A small part of me really wishes it was a real ad.. but a very large part of me says... if it smells fishy...

All American Jock got a positive review today and his rentmen ad is still up. Does this mean that rentmen admin did not find his account to be fraudulent? Can today's review be trusted? Is he really ColetonC4 after all? I remember looking at ColetonC4's tweet about the backpage ad and it seemed it was obvious that All American Jock was not him. And now the twitter account is private.

That's what I thought also.

If anyone can get to the bottom of this mystery it's the guys from this forum.

I'm thinking of asking them to look into my hampster (Nabisco) cold case homicide from 1982.

I'm afraid its true guys. I was curious and had a long pre-meeting texting conversation with AllAmericanJock in Las Vegas, AKA Coleton Hardy Casey, apparently from Tyler, Texas and he was very good at assuaging my reservations. Anyway, I arranged an overnight in Vegas (Nov 2015) and we met at a restaurant, before planning to see a show. In a nutshell, I'm now officially part of the "DumbAss Club" because he asked for the payment upfront because he'd been scammed twice before, yada yada...Of course he pulled the classic "need to pee" trick and left me high and dry in a fancy upmarket restaurant with everyone trying their best not to notice. The Maitre'D inquired whether the gentleman will be returning after an appropriate 15 minutes and I held my pose and replied "I don't think so" and ordered some Oysters and Spotted Chilean Sea Bass for dinner, and another glass of wine. Was too winded to make it to the show though...I'm pretty sure it wasn't the guy in the online pics. He seemed shorter, but sort of vaguely familiar from 1 or 2 of his posted pics, the more baby-faced, blue shirt in the mens-room pic, who knows... He has removed his profiles from the main sites (Rentmen/Men4Rent/Apollon21) but he is still posting daily in the Vegas Escorts BackPages. Anyway, hopefully this sewer-rat will get what he deserves before he and his little network of friends get too full of bravado and hurts somebody. Relieved I got off lightly! I guess I'll be a little more jaded, if and when I get over my dented pride and realize that there in no romance or common respect and empathy to be had - so much for the "Boyfriend Experience". Be careful guys!

PS. I must say that I have met a couple of escorts who really do their level best to make you enjoy the experience, each in their own unique way. One just has to learn to recognize the Duds. Please feel free to forward this warning to friends far and wide.

Hes probably someone who choose those pictures because he somewhat resembled the real coleton.

the real coleton casey does live in tyler texas and he has a twitter account that is now private and is aware of the scammer based on a brief interchange I had with him. the scammer can no longer steal more pics from him. rentmen at the time responded to my pointing out of the scam, that he had provided "reasonable proof of id" I guess their reasonable proof of identity wasn't very credible after all.

It seems that they are able to write their own reviews on these sites as well, he had good reviews but now I question whether he created his own "client" profiles and posted his own reviews on himself - definitely a loophole to be addressed by these escort sites.

Why do they keep trying?

The answer is simple - the con artists often succeed at fooling gays and can get their money with little effort.

This is a game that has gone on since hustling began. It will not stop at anytime in the future.

The scam artist is a salesman without a product.

It's Harold Hill Syndrome.

As PT Barnum allegedly said (long since debunked), there's a sucker born every minute.

These guys persist for the same reason you still get emails from a Nigerian prince about exporting money if you'll just send your bank account number to him. Or a notice that you've won the Irish Lottery that you never entered. Or that Bill Gates wants to personally give you a million dollars.

They can cast a very wide net for a relatively small investment, and there's a sucker born every minute.

Just seems a bit sad to let go of the mutual respect and empathy part of being human; but then again, if one wants intimacy or some kind of "connection" I'd not be scouting the nether-world of pay-for-"company" would I?

There are scammers and there are legit escorts. I'm not sure if price separates them, though there are definitely some that use low fees as a lure.

If you hire well-regarded reviewed guys, you're less likely to be scammed. But if you're looking for a specific look or niche by the hour for the lowest price possible, you're more likely to find scammers. If you're looking for intimacy and a connection, see the guys who are about more than getting off. Look for those who discount past the first hour or for whom 90 minutes or 2 hours is the minimum. Consider overnight, 24 hour, or weekend appointments.

And lose the attitude that escorting is a nether world that only revolves around money. Seek, and ye shall find. If that's what you think it is, that's all you'll get.

Or those lovely e-mails you get from a friend's "e-mail" telling you they're stranded in London after being mugged and need you to wire money. That one almost caught me because the friend whose e-mail got hacked actually was in London at the time. But I figured it out in the knick of time.

I often think that if conmen and scammers put just as much effort into legitimate efforts, just think what they could accomplish.

I think we have a "Kardashian" situation on our hands. Whether we like it or not...They wont Dissapear. YES they should be Exposed, However giving our 2 Cents could be pointless. 99% of Clients I've met didnt even Know this Website existed. Strange considering we all have access to Google.
