Adam4Adam removing "Escort" category

I think if you didn't change it yourself they still haven't gotten around to it, Mine didn't change until I had to update mine though and when I did that, the "escort" category is no longer selectable and they cut the word count too, which was just rude so I had to redo the whole thing.

Thanks for the info, Russ as this must have just happened not long after I updated mine which was 24 hours after the made the announcement regarding the sudden change. I have a feeling once this mess with Rentboy.com boils over they'll go back to they're regular format. Although, I could be wrong.

well put, Glennnn. personally, I'm disappointed to read comments by escorts who seem to have no problem putting their escort ads under masseur ads. I'm also disappointed because it seems that websites like adam4adam are kowtow'ing to the government from the rentboy arrests. that's especially upsetting because escorting is a legal line of work - and will remain so, unless some new laws are made that says otherwise. as others have said on the forum, including Daddy himself, people need to stay calm through this. .

Yes, I agree hiding behind massage status if you're an escort is a bitch move, and that's the problem DENVER has. Many of these guys are advertising as masseurs, online and even in the bars...but its somewhat disguised behind, "I'll fuck you too if I like you". I've been approached by these cons many times out here.

 

Listen, the reason I mentioned not minding the masseur part is because it can and does sometimes attract guys who are shy to male sex period, not just prostitution. There's tons of straight guys that start off with a massage, then realize they want something else. However, a person has to be able to back it up. I studied massage, so I can.

 

That said, I recently did a revamp of my Adam profile and just put model. There's already too many "masseurs" advertising in my area as it is. Plus I don't get much request from it on Adam.

 

And yes, it's a goddam shame these websites we pay our money to every month, rather back down like cowards, rather than fucking stand up for the people fucking supporting their ass. That's some fucking bullshit, and I was really considering writing a letter to men4rent and Adam telling them exactly that. And I think I will. Because that's some real bitch shit, to hush us up, put restrictions on us, instead of going down to the White House and DEMANDING change in this goddam country. Fuck!

 

These websites make enough money to send every escort a bus or plane ticket to the front gates of Washington, and doing a strike/standoff for however many hours or days it takes to make changes. Got dammit, until we get Baltimore/Ferguson mad with this shit, there won't be any incentive for the laws to stop criminalizing us.

Do you think I should list as a "Consultant" or "Therapist"? I like the sound of both! To be honest no one reads anyway they look at pictures and click so it doesn''t matter what you are labelled as long as they can tell what you do.
