Daddy Sez: "Until the Rentboy situation is resolved I am not comfortable posting explicit reviews."

I have an explicit review of Adam Michaels ready to post but am gun shy with what has happened to RentBoy. Neither do I want to harm Adam nor myself. Am I being paranoid in these RentBoy gone days about posting a review...especially an explicit one?

You can never be too careful. The question is, did you have a good experience?

The other day I met with a sort of nerdy but sexy 22 y.o. black guy in the D.C. area. We had been exchanging e-mails and phone calls for some months - he needed new photos. I shot a few with my cell phone and later he fucked the daylights out of me. Somehow I'll figure out a way to share the experience and photos. :)

I was also thinking about this very topic. I had a wonderful overnight with a well known Courtesan (wink!) recently, and having been giving some thought to what I should say. I think with some careful wordsmithing, this can be done to give justice to the service that was provided without getting anyone in trouble.

If memory serves me - and it probably won't - years ago David Forest was arrested in Los Angeles County for giving referrals and went to trial. He was acquitted. I think the court found a referral was not the same as a pimp. Help me out here. :)

Depending on the jurisdiction, it is a legal grey area. In some areas, the court would see you as committing "pandering"...while in others, they would not. Now, in Forrest's case, I think the acquittal came about because prosecution could not firmly establish that Forrest had a financial link to the "referrals"....but let's get real--it was David F'ing Forrest...of course he was getting a finder's fee, and was good about not leaving a paper trail. This man was the biggest pimp for male escorts in the 80s & 90s. Leopards never change their spots.

I'm trying to understand this, too...there is nothing in most reviews that links money for sex in a quid pro quo. Each review specifies fees and number of hours spent. And though many have detailed accounts f sexual activity, I can't remember anyone ever suggesting that they paid "X" amount for some specific sex act. Instead, the information suggests that two adults got together for a certain period of time at a cost of this many dollars, and this is how they spent their time - isn't that an accurate definition of escorting? I understand that the case suggests that that is a thin veneer for prostitution, but it's also 100% true. I understand that they could choose to prosecute and/or shame the individuals publicly, but to what end? A misdemeanor conviction with a ticket? On the other hand, it does indicate commerce and again raises the issue of taxes being paid on the income by the escort.
