Houseboy (Sean Lespagnol) has asked me to announce the following since he is without internet access for a few days.

 

The Chicago Hooville Meeting will be Saturday March 27 at 6pm in the Boystown Area. Sean will announce the exact location in a few days.

 

Sean requests that those planning to attend, e-mail him so he can make arrangements for the proper number of attendees.

 

I hope to see ya'll there, I'm sure it will be very niiiice.

 

Thank You for your attention to this Public Service Announcement and you may now return to your regularly scheduled programing.

I should have known that KY would make this look like a staff meeting, so I thought I would add my own, more descriptive version of what is going to happen during the Chicago Hooville festivities.

 

We will be meeting at 6 pm at Cornelia's in Boystown, which is located at 750 W. Cornelia, half a block east of Halsted, south of Addison. Feel free to contact me for a map if you need one. Cornelia's has both food and alcoholic beverages and you are free to pick which you would like, if six is too early / too late for you to have dinner and / or drinks.

 

The main attraction will, of course, be KY Top who will be in town that weekend, so all you admirers out there, this is your opportunity to meet The Man. I will be jealously guarding who is touching him, though, so be prepared to appease me.

 

KY and I might entertain you with our puppet show in case conversation starts lagging.

 

EVERYONE who is in town on Saturday is invited to attend. Please do let me know if you are coming, though, so I can reserve a table if the number gets too unwieldy.

 

Afterwards, there will, of course, be plenty of options to take the party up and down the street, so I am confident that a good time will be had by all.

 

So, without much further ado - looking forward to seeing you Saturday!

As I mentioned to you earlier, I won't be able to make this soiree, but wanted to wish everyone A GOOD TIME!! Be sure to take attendance and see if the guys would like to do it again sometime this summer. :7

 

P.S. Be sure to try the "infusion" drinks at Cornelia's. They are delish! (and not as strong as martinis) :9

It has come to my attention that the Hooville Chicago ads that have been posted all over town have been a bit one-sided in their reporting of the attractions on offer, so I thought I would clarify that beside KY being in town, perks include

 

- me (obviously)

- the absolutely wonderful infusions mentioned by Cockeyed Optimist

- the opportunity to meet local and not-so-local Hoovillers

- discussion of select message board items (come prepared)

- food (always a selling point, I know)

- a plethora of entertainment venues at our very fingertips, including your average gay dance clubs, barn dances at Charlie's, strippers at the Horseshoe, screwin' at Steamworks, and the liquor section at the Seven Eleven,

 

to mention just a few. I do not know how you could not want to experience all that (and more), but I am sure somebody will tell me.

I have made it into town, even after surviving 2 hours of Chicago's horrible traffic last evening. Looking forward to meeting everyone and sorry Barry and CEO will not be able to attend. CEO is talking about heading up the future Chicago Hooville meetings.

 

Reminder tonight 6pm at Cornelia's.

Wish I could bring the ice cream!! Not generally an acquired taste but willing to help him work on it. Another time. :7

 

I have too many plans -- all unrealized... lol. One set has me on my way to Bangkok, a second set has me sitting in Campus/Montreal right now and a third has me receiving Far East contraband on a dark Boston street late one of the nights. All of it brings John Steinbeck to mind... :+

Just wanted to say what a great time I had in Chicago meeting those that came. Seems Tedbear and I have alot in common besides Escorts and Oliver was kind enough to bring eye candy in the form of Ethan/Chicago. Actually Ethan was much more than eye candy, a very bright young man that brought much to the evenings conversation.

 

Of course Houseboy (Sean) had my attention most of the evening and had me distracted often.:)

 

The restaurant was pleasant and the food and staff was excellent. After the Chef messed up Tedbear's meal, they replaced it and comped his entire bill.

 

Hope someone continues these Hooville meetings in Chicago and hopefully I will be able to attend again.

I also thoroughly enjoyed a first time meeting with other Hoovillians. What a group of true gentlemen - Tedbear, KY-Top, with Sean and Ethan!

I concur. Even having to travel from Columbus, it was worth meeting these gentlemen. :)

Last but not least (as far as the client side goes), I, too, had a great night. I think it was nice that the first meeting was pretty small and was made up of a great group of guys!.I had the extreme pleasure of sitting between Sean and Ethan! (Don't read the next sentence, KyTop) Sean was such a flirt! As the other guys said, Ethan was a fabulous addition to the evening. I very much enjoyed talking to him (and looking at him). He's very much a hottie. I think he just moved up to the top of my to-hire list!.

Oh. The meeting is over? No wonder conversation has been a bit slow for the last three days. Y'alls could have told me that you're leaving - sometimes it's okay to interrupt me, you know. I guess I can go home now. :p
