I always forget about the other browsers because I'm so used to Chrome. I tried IE and RM loaded without a hitch.

Funny, but when it would not work with IE I tried Chrome. Obviously that was not quite the answer!

It varies from hour to hour for me. Sometimes it goes the the blank defaultsite page, sometimes I get a custom rentmen 404 page, sometimes it works.

I don't know what they're doing, but they didn't have a good transition plan.

Well, I had no idea how to spell it. My spellchecker corrected it, which is not always the case as it usually messes things up and often in a quite comical manner.

I had assumed that the word was Yiddish in origin, but it actually is of Scottish derivation!

Oh no, not at all. I only know a little Yiddish in spite of being Jewish. I know a lot more German. Most Yiddish words look German-ish. 'Kerfuffle' doesn't look German at all.

You're right! Too many vowels and not enough consonants and not an ö, ä, or ü to be seen!

218 in NYC as of 6:15pm Saturday -- that's up from 175 on Tuesday afternoon. The new number includes a listing for tech savvy Kurtis Wolfe, who contributed to this thread and is visiting NYC in early September ... if you are in The Big Apple, struggling with computer issues and need a technical consultation, make a note of it!

I win - I learned BASIC in high school in the 70s. (Current languages of choice are Swift and PHP)

I learned it learning it starting in second grade. Using the BASIC manual that came with our new computer, dad taught me the basics and then I figured out the rest from the book. You'd think that with the early start, I'd be a great programmer, but you'd be wrong.
