I think they're updating again. I got in but it was really slow and not everything worked. The layout is somewhat different than it used to be. I'm on a DSL and it acted like a 28k connection.

We are living in a technological world and sometimes computers break down or new software is used which will make things better, but sometimes things just do not go the way you want it.

 

The people at Rentboy are probably just going through a glitch, similar to the one we have been going through.

I have had the same problem trying to access RENTBOY for the past few days on Netscape, AOL, Safari and Internet Explorer. Now I know whay so many escorts are on AOL Chat. LOL

I've had no trouble at all accessing the site. I just tried it again and it worked fine -- and it was very fast.

 

Each time I've seen this thread updated, I've tried it again. And each time it's worked perfectly for me. (I use Internet Explorer v6 to access the Internet over a fast DSL connection.)

 

If it's still not working for you, you may want to try clearing your cache.

Ummm ... can I advance a REALLY radical idea? And I know I'm going to get lambasted for suggesting it, but has anyone having trouble with rentboy.com asked anyone at rentboy.com about it? I'd think [email protected] or [email protected] might be good addresses to try, and they're far more likely to know what's up than anyone here.

 

But that's just a wild idea.

BG, I know the owners of Rentboy and I consider them very good friends in this world sex.

 

I think they are honest and I at one time considered running their review site but I really have to be alone, because I am Garbo. And I refuse to let money control this site.

 

That said, we are in a technological age. I have been to Rentboys's home. They are way advanced. They are smarter than me. They only have half the viewers I have but that that's okay. I support them and they support me.

 

We only have a couple of goals:

 

1. Provide accurate information.

 

2. Provide excellent customer service.

 

If they have computer problems, do not come down on them....I am undergoing MAJOR computer problems and it is not fun on this end.

 

You are getting valuable information from honest people with Hooboy and Rentboy. I do not care which you prefer..I think Rentboy and Hooboy are on the same page....we only want to provide the most accurate information and we want to make money, too.

 

I cannot speak for Rentboy or the people who run it. All I know is that I know them, and I think they are honest. A rare commodity in the sex industry.

Please don't misunderstand: my comment was in no way meant as a slam of any kind against Rentboy. I've always been a fan of theirs and think the new site design is quite spiffy.

 

Instead, my comment above was really intended as sort of a joke for Deej, a fellow software guy. He had suggested that people consider contacting the support folks at the site they were trying to access (a quaint idea). I responded with the old software support line... RTFM.

 

Sorry if you thought I was slamming your friends. I certainly did not intend to slam anyone at all.
