Escorts in Hawai'i?

So I believe that HI passed a law over a year ago that made it easier for police to bust prostitution rings, but I have no data points on what happened in practice after that. Does anyone know what is going on with the escorting scene in Hawai'i? I checked Rentboy, and it seems suspiciously lacking in escorts. I searched the forum but didn't see anything one way or the other.

Hawaii for some reason has never had a lot of ads. So I doubt the new law is the reason.

I think that's true. I used to visit Hawai'i regularly and very seldom saw escort ads, and when I did see escort ads they were frequently guys visiting Oahu or, sometimes, Maui. Not much action on the other islands, though even though I was fatter then I seemed to have no problem finding guys on the one remaining gay beach/cruising area on Kaua'i with which to have sex.

Pure luck - the only successful hires in Hawaii have been provided by traveling escorts (often from the West Coast) who happened to be there at the same time as myself....the couple of times over the years when I've spotted a local guy's ad who got my interest for whenever my own next visit would be....the ad was always gone by the time I was ready to hire.....& I don't save contact info for later from guys I've never seen before.....If they don't have a current ad when I'm ready to hire, I simply figure they've moved on and/or are not looking for new business / would not welcome being contacted.....maybe my thinking here is making me miss some opportunities / great guys but that's just how I operate.....(mostly).......but also, hiring in Hawaii can have its own "strangeness" which is hard to define but it exists.

Im there somewhat regularly and never see any ads I would want to call. No new law either. Police actually tried to get creative recently. Busted massage parlor workers for battery for giving hand jobs to undercover officers. Little problem tho....consent is a defense so the charges got thrown out. You may be thinking of a policy they tried a few years ago to allow undercover officers to actually have sex with prostitutes. That didn't go over to well so wasn't implemented. Imagine the cop going home at night...but honey, it's my job!

I'm actually heading to Hawaii in a week or so and was also surprised at the lack of escorts anywhere. I've looked at Rentboy, Rentmen, M4RN, and even the massage sites have close to nothing. Are there any sites I'm missing or worth checking? Or any bars worth checking out in Honolulu or Maui? Thanks
