What's with all the acronyms? I get OMG and BTW but one has me stumped. IMO - what the hell does that mean? Please help

For what it's worth, I seem to recall that IMO ("In my opinion"), like IMNSHO ("In my not so humble opinion"), is a variant of IMHO ("In my humble opinion".

While the occasional net-ism is handy (especially, for me, lol), I find that it's generally easier and faster to simply type the real words. And, as seen from the confusion above, using actual English can be a real aid to comprehension.

Thanks Valley Dweller, I have gotten proficient enough that I was able to cut and paste your response and will now print and tape it to my computer so I know what people are saying. Maybe you can teach old dogs new tricks but I need to see it in front of me to remember.

Everybody loves Backa Baa comes from an MSN commercial - you know - the butterfly. Thescene is a lady sitting on her porch with a whole string of people (representing spam) stretching out way past her front lawn. The butterfly is on her porch with his hand on the handle to a trap door. Taking his cues from her he systematically pulls the handle dispatching each spammer to the nether regions. This one particularly seedy looking character steps up pokes out his gut and proudly proclaims "Everybody loves Backa Baa" just before he too is dispatched. I always thought it was funny so adopted it. Have I quelled your curiositu you silly wabbit?
