The reason for the tardiness of the Saturday reviews are on the announcement page. We are changing software and it is taking time. Again I apologize.

May I kindly suggest that you give yourself a break and eliminate the forced scheduling. Post new reviews whenever you like. Post them every day if you like. If you want to skip a weekend and enjoy life, do that. Just don't feel guilty about it.

 

Some days, maybe you'll decide to post two sets of reviews. Perhaps some days you won't post any. The world will still turn, the sun will still come up and you'll be happier if you're not stuck to some arbitrary schedule.

 

By removing the expectation that reviews absolutely have to be posted by a certain time or they're late, you'll let yourself and others relax about them. And removing the pressure may let you start to feel like it's a fun thing to do again.

 

There's no reason why new reviews have to come out on a daily basis. They could just as well come out 5 times a week, including 2 sets on one day and none on another. It won't make any difference to anyone except that you won't have to apologize for being late because you won't be late.

I would disagree with you Boston Guy. The majority of visitors to this site do not venture into the message center. They're here for their daily dose of reviews. If a survey was done I'm certain that is the number one reason why people type in the url.

 

Like most high traffic sites yesterday's content is considered old news. Too much old news and people will look elsewhere for their kicks.

 

HooBoy has done a good job building this site and y his response, I'm sure he understands what it takes to continue the growth. Thus, it's important for him to keep the reviews updated so the hits continue to come.
