Thank you once again, Sir Slater.

Ditto...Some many times a day I will look at something and say the same thing that Ethan said the first time he went outside and saw the grass.."It's so beautiful" not realizing that many people can't appreciate what I am able to.

Reminds me of eight years ago when the ophthalmologist told me that the cataracts on my lenses were not only cloudy but brown (from smoking – I quit right then). It had been gradual, but I had noticed a golden tone to everything – sort of like I was in Tuscany – and I couldn’t distinguish my black socks from my navy blue ones (had to have my cleaning lady sort them for me).

Of course, he did one eye at a time. The next day after the right eye had been done and he removed the patch, it was amazing! I could see blue sky again! And three weeks later when he did the left eye, it was doubly amazing! I consider it a miracle to be able to see all the beautiful colors and the beauty in nature.:)

And I can sort my own socks again!;)

I'm glad the cataract operation worked. But just as an FYI-I've always had difficulty with this.
