Was surprised to see this review. Christopher has had glowing reviews in the past, although I noticed it has been a while since his last one.

And no response from CD.

i'm not surprised by this post. I have had less than enthusiastic text conversations with Chris. If those texts were indicative of how he would perform, I know I would of have a bad experience. I have PM with other guys on these forums who said that Chris is not a great escort. I actually read his book. He seems "over it" and I guess its starting to show in his escort work.

I met Chris for a one or two hour meeting (I can't remember which it was) 4 years ago. He was very nice. In fact he 'squeezed' me in. He was driving to LA that night from Vegas but was willing to meet me in the late afternoon and leave after that. After that I had always wanted to meet him again. But things didn't work out. But since then over the years when he has responded on here, he seems to have developed an attitude.

Believe me I know being an escort and catering to different guys fantasies must be very difficult on a day in day out basis. And I'm grateful for the majority of escorts I was able to meet in my hiring days. I mean even if I had been in good shape and great at sex, but my psyche were the same that I have now, I don't think I could have ever done it. But -and I realize this may depend on your reason for hiring-being a client is not always the easiest thing either.

One thing about the review though-and it may just be unfortunate-but from meeting Chris, reading reviews, and seeing teasers of his videos-I think at least with guys who aren't as hot as he is-he's probably better as a bottom. If the reviewer didn't know a lot about Chris and wanted a more dominant top, that might have been part of the problem.

If you read his book, you wouldn't't be surprised at all. This guy brings no joy to his work and would describe his day in a detached, unenthusiastic way: "Got up and ate, then fucked a guy at the Mirage, went to the gym, and got another call from some tweaked out guy at Bellagio" (paraphrased). Occasionally he'd throw in some gratuitously negative stuff about his ex-boyfriend, Jason Michaels, and then back to the boring tick-tock of his depressing life. There wasn't even any good sex in it...just "blah, blah, blah, then I blah, blah, blahed". Oh, and he's always the victim....

He's always seemed like one of those utility guys in porn who probably gets called when they need to round out a roster or replace someone who flaked. There's never been much to spark my interest. From the promo stuff I saw in blogs, the book sounded like the rather sad but fairly typical story of someone from a repressive background who let the genie out of the bottle in a big way but probably can't move on to a normal middle aged life. If he was truly invested in porn as a career he'd probably be on the business or production side by now.

I agree with Amoco-if he ever wanted to end his escorting career, that book should do it. There's a lot about how disgusting his clients were- and early in the book he describes how some guy shorted him in paying for a lap dance, so he stole his lap top to compensate.. Who could resists such a charmer.....?

something doesnt seem right when he didnt even take the time to respond

wasn't he a porn fan who then became a porn actor? I reckon he found that what he thought it would be like and what he got were two different things

Posted

He was actually an escort who responded to a call when a porn company found themselves short a porn actor and needed someone in a pinch.

I have met Chris before professionally and socially. He's a little bit of a mess, very defensive about barebacking and into a lot of drugs. He's one of those who blames everyone else for his issues and doesn't take any personal responsibility for his life. His personality is a total turn off and he had so few redeeming qualities that I stopped doing dinners with him even though he was paying for them.

I've worked with him once several years ago in Vegas. It was pre-Truvada times and before he slipped down. He was a fine gentleman back then.

I haven't read the book, as I'm not interested in gossipy items about his clients. He did an interview with Jonny McGovern:

Oh, my!

Thank you for the link to that interview.

Watching and listening to Christopher Daniels is a lesson in itself.

After watching and listening to the interview, I rate him as an off putting person with a huge ego.

I do not understand how he was so succesful in his chosen line of work.

If you combine the off putting personality (shown in the interview) together with the book he wrote (that shows ridicule and contempt for many of his clients) the guy is less than congenial.

I've noticed that Christopher lowered his rate too. He used to advertise for 300, but lately it's been 250. Wondering if its because his client base is falling. I've seen him on hookup sites too and he's clearly into PNP. That and the barebacking (not that I'm judging) might be why he's getting less clients lately.

I don't think he is as muscled as he was for awhile either. But another reason could be he's in LA now where there are probably at least 3 times as many escorts as Las Vegas.

I hired Jason twice, and completely agree that he was both an excellent lover and all around class act. He stopped escorting on New Years Day, 2015, and from what I can tell, is doing really well and working hard...

BOOMER - an escort generally doesn't respond to a negative review because a) forgot B) don't care c0 too cracked out d) they know no matter what the escort says he's always going to look like an ass d)all of the above

Kaboom- which text messages were these ? Were they one of many I receive from clients on a daily basis? clients who never have any intention of hiring me instead they just waist my time acting like they are ? Why would other escorts have good things to say about me ? Unless they're good friends of mine (which a few are ) why would they talk up the competition? You may not believe this but sometimes escorts are bitchy, competitive and hateful. We tend not to gloat over each other and talk about great they are. And over it? Yes I probably am over it some days like many other guys in this industry because there's a high burn out factor. Being an escort is like working a high end retail job and being a therapist full time. Sure we get the discount and free clothes and we get the therapist paycheck but it can be draining and it still sucks some days. I guess my problem was putting it out there and actually showing people what I (and many other escorts have) felt but don't want to say.

I agree Garieth. Some of my negative reviews have been because of my inability to be a top which is why in my ad I always put BOTTOM or versatile bottom and I always tell my clients if they are looking for a Dom top I'm not the guy. If Im into you then I can fuck you for days but if I'm not into you or the chemistry is off then its probably not going to happen.

Oh Amoco ... Joy to my work ? let me ask you this..... Do you bring joy to your work every day? believe me I know what I signed up for but my work is not always a day in the park when you're dealing with shitty dicks / assholes (literally) clients that don't show up to meetings/stiff you, give you the run around for days/months and fuck with your psyche. I hate to break it to you but The main part of my day is wake up go to gym , fuck some dude at the Mirage , take a nap , go shopping , fuck another guy at the rio, wait for some asian dude at the travelodge to call me back and then not show up and so on. That's my schedule and that's what I (and most escorts ) deal with on a daily basis . . Unfortunately, being an escort is not like the movies ....sorry. I've had more good experiences than bad and l my book was meant to be resource for people that wanted to know a bit more about the escorting industry . I wanted to give them my side and I was just offering them my perspective on an industry people know very little about. I don't speak on behalf of all escorts and I never said I did. And unfortunately you are right just like most gay men some of whom are probably reading and writing in this in this forum I can be negative, drone on about my deoressing life and complain about being a victim but hey it was my book and I can say what I want and that's how I felt at the time. Good sex? I think that's relative . I've had several people write me and tell me they jerked off to really dark parts of the book that were never intended to be want material so who's to say what's sexy? Maybe you should tell us some of your wilder sexual escapades so we can see what real HOT sex looks like. Please.... were dying to read it.

Buckguy- if you knew anything about my porn career you'd know that i started as the utility guy in porn. Some big-name porn star didn't show up for the shoot so Zeb atlas hired me instead bc he couldn't get anyone else. I've Based my entire 150 plus scene career on being the model who gets fucked by the porn star and I'm OK with that. I usually still made the same amount as the "real star" and was even on the cover of a few Titan/Falcon/studio I don't remember DVDs. Being the utility guy gave me many opportunities and gave me the title of being an international porn star (I did 2 club appearances in Canada and 4 shoots in London therefore I'm international so suck it). And money in the production side of things ? do you know anything about the porn industry? there's no money in porn.... ANYWHERE. Unless your Sketchy sex/fraternity x.com, sean Cody or your studio is ran by one of the larger straight companies you are a struggling broke ass mother fucker on his way to the unemployment off. As far as working in the current industry production side of things there's more than enough people in line for those jobs then there are jobs available. Do your research and quit talking about things you know nothing about.

If I ever made any mention of how "disgusting" people were it was because they were to me at that time. Forgive me but sometimes Im not attracted to the client and some of them are disgusting. I never set out to be malicious or hateful and I never wanted to bite the hand that feeds me but some of the guys I saw were less than desireable. I wasn't about to sit there and go on about how they were all attractive and great people fr the inside out when they were really 400 lbs (or more), were rude, didn't under stand basic hygiene and smelt. Some people may find me disgusting and others I find disgusting too. That's life. I was just being honest and that was my story. I'm allowed to have feelings and memories. Did you want me to go on and on about how my all my clients were great and beautiful people inside and they were amazing people and when they shorted me on money It was ok bc they're probably just going through a rough time so God bless him? What world do you live in? The asshole who stiffed me what belligerent, rude and obnoxiously drunk. He shorted me on 4 lap dances and I stole his ipad. NOT laptop and I gave it back in the end. Forgive me but I was jet lagged and cranky. How would you react if someone did the same thing to you?

OK guys. From his above posts, I think Christopher has just proven that he is just as human as you or I. I say, give the man a break. If you had a negative experience with him, write a review. If not, don't read his book or follow him on social media!

I once tried to set up an appointment with him by email and he was very quick and kind with his response that he was sorry, but would be in NYC during the time I would be visiting Las Vegas.

Hey SCB2010, thanks for commenting on all these threads and putting your perspective on the record. It's easy for us to have our 2 cents worth when we only have snippets of informtion with little or no context. There has been a fair amount of comment about you here, and without you to put your side it can become speculative. And yes, at times negative comments can be reinforced. From my limited experience here, once an escort starts to engage with the rest of the forum, for the most part it becomes supportive and cordial, or at least more balanced. You don't need to return fire to make your point although sometimes that may appear to be necessary. In any case, you won't please everyone, but that's life. I would echo Truhart1's comments in his first para at #24. Look forward to reading your future comments.
