the post about clients under the influence within the Mocha-started thread makes me wonder how often you encounter it.....I know there are various shades of being under the influence - one beer clear up to being coked out of your mind - and one beer doesn't really make a meeting difficult....

 

so wondering how often you meet with a client (new or not) who is messed up to the point that it's difficult to communicate and move the meeting forward.....

 

are certain cities more liable to have this?.....time of year?.....

As for the question, I do encounter the substance using client occasionally. Better weather seems to fuel it. However, in Colorado, everyone is so hashed out, or meth'd out on a daily basis, 24/7, 365, they're too high or spaghetti dicked to pick up the phone and even call an escort...so it's really non-existent for me because they'll not remember my number, or where they seen my ad, or my rates...so it'll be a non MFing factor.

 

Sure can't wait to leave though. Oh happy day, oh happy day.....
