I opened the websiteb of the featured escort today, Clinton Blackwell and found the following posted prominently:

Wow. This is the first time I have seen such blatant discrimination on an escort site, but then I'm no expert in the matter. Everyone is entitled to preferences. I have mine - but this kind of public statement is startling. Surely there must be a way for escorts to screen customers without such discriminatory statements.

It is somewhat surprising from someone so young in these times of social awareness. A few years back, I saw the same race restriction in the advertising of two escorts very well reviewed in these forums, one in Atlanta and one in New York. They both have since removed the restriction from their advertising. I have also seen the restriction presented in more palatable fashion with words like "selective" or "not for everyone."

 

Mr. Blackwell's further comment of "Please check my rates on the rates page as well as my interview on www.rentmen.com/TeenDreamBoy before contacting me with stupid questions." does not suggest a user-friendly personality.

Mr. Blackwell only quoted rates start at US$800. I understand why people ask about his rates. His interview is interesting, although I do not like his wish to be paid upfront by new clients. I very much wish the interview included why he has restrictions on Africans and African-Americans. I am afraid though that he would play the South African card.

It's not as unusual as one might think. I've had several "top shelf" "A-list" "well reviewed" escorts ask me about my ethnicity and make distasteful and disparaging remarks about men of color, right here in the good-ol-US of A. Unless you are looking for a fight, I always say, you have to choose your battles, best thing to do is just briefly, respectfully (one sentence) express your feelings, then exit stage left...shit happens, and it is the way of the world.

There is more than that wrong with the reviewer of this escort. If the reviewer had met up with this escort a few years ago in this country we would have found that to be completely unacceptable.

I'm not seeing the same level of discrimination in "I Love Whiteboys" that I see in "no Black guys." "I Love Whiteboys," to me, states a preference while "no Black guys" is an absolute.

 

Knowing that age, weight, and race are issues that can, independently or collectively, influence hiring, I do not contact any escort or masseur who does not have such inclusive phrases as "all are welcome," "I do not discriminate," "I welcome all ages, sizes, and races," or similar verbiage in his advertising. Granted, that does narrow the field, but it puts the experience within my comfort zone.
